Here is the recipe, and, you're right, it doesn't look sweet.


Yorkshire Pudding

A traditional winter recipe from England
Preparation time: approximately 5 minutes
Cooking time: 40-45 minutes
Oven: 425°F
Serves 6-8 people
4-oz flour
Pinch of salt
1 egg
1/2 pint fresh milk
1 1/2 oz butter
Sift the flour and salt into a bowl and crack in the egg. Then gradually add half the milk, beating the mixture to create a smooth batter.
Pour in the remaining milk and beat it until smooth.
Pre-heat oven, put the butter in a baking pan (approx.10x12inch) and heat for ten minutes. Pour in the batter and bake in the center of the oven until done.
