Since everything has changed, including the date, I'm starting my journal on here all afresh. We are having a Victorian themed party, my dress is corseted with a mermaid skirt, I'm not sure what Brian will be wearing at this point. The outfit pretty much hinges on a cravat or a regular tie, either of which will determine the rest of the look. Probably ties since the rest of the guys will want to wear suits instead of something fancy, special ordered that would only be worn once. My girls are getting black dresses and wearing waist cinchers (one in lavender, one in purple, each laced with the opposing color).
For the bridesmaid presents, I'll be getting their jewelry, victorian lace necklaces. For the guys, I'll probably buy their ties since I know they already own black suits (and if they don't, they should get one. Time to be grownups, boys! Every man needs one decent suit.)
I got my dress on a wicked sale. It was marked down from $1,899 to $300! I couldn't, and still can't, believe my luck. They even let me do a payment plan. Two more, and it's coming home with me. Here it is:

The centerpieces will be origami lilies and bluebells in our wedding colors (purple, lavender, black and silver)

I know the color looks harsh on the lettering, but it doesn't print out that way. It's a lot more subdued than it looks.
