programs

Programs can be a daunting task, with the typing, then the printing and then you know there is always that chance of running our of ink (which while doing my cousins at 2am the night before her wedding, this happen to us)
i was going to say no thanks to doing programs then i saw that VISTAPRINT (my fav place) sends me 25 brochure free like every week. SOOO i made a decision. Im going to go ahead and do the 25 free like 4 times so i can get my 100 programs :) It will cost about 20$ after shipping and stuff for all of them (about 4.00 per time to ship) but i would have spent that much to get the right cardstock anyway.. so i wanted to give all you budget brides a tip :)

I've also thought about doing this as well although I would need close to 200 so I would have to do it several times. I wish I could find the design from my save the dates (from Vista Print) in a brochure form though cause that would so settle that decision.

you could pay the 4.99 fee to download it to there if you have the image :)

that's true but at the same time I feel like they would already have the image since the save the dates came from there as well....definately have to think about this.

I was thinking about doing the brochures for my programs as well. I'm so not creative enough to come up with something and I definitely like the idea of just paying for shipping. If you do go that route, let us know how they turn out.

Dont worry, i will let you guys know. The other night i typed up a whole program on there to see how it looked. I dont necessarily care if they MATCH the invites or seating cards etc so me this works, but i know some like having everything match :) my sil did that

I didn't think I cared either if everything matched but then I got my save the dates in my hands and saw them in person and loved them! FH loves them too. So far out of everything thats the only thing I've really gotten some sort of comment about stuff other then the typical "cool" or "if it's what you want." He wasn't sure about the cards at first and like me when they got here we were both in love with them.

heheh thats exactly what happened with our std.. fh picked them cuz "they were the best that vista print had to offer" but then when they got here he was like THEY ARE AWESOME

Yes it is a great feeling...I'm new to buying online and still a little hesitant of buying something without seeing it, etc....basically I was like well I'm not out a whole lot if I don't like them but turns out I love them.

Very nice - I think I may have to play around with that site a bit more to figure my programs out.

Might do the notepad and pen in my save the date design for my MOH and bridesmaid.

hehehe being the vista print (self proclaimed) queen, you know i have already done the notepad etc.. I ordered the notepad and sticky notes for my mother in law and my mother and the notecards. I did it cuz for the bridal shower or something when i need a gift for them, its something nice, i can get them a nice pen from somewhere else and put it all in a cute little mug or something (you see those in those magazines ya know ;) ) point is.. it came out really good.. ill post pics next thread.

Very lovely gifts. I'm definately keeping this in mind for my gifts....I'm so excited that I found out about Vista Print from OneWed.

How come you are getting rid of the MOH shirts?

um, one of the guys at my job does printing on shirts.. i would rather the girls have BLACK shirts for the bach party but since i already ordered all these bridesmaids and maid of honor shirts, i was stuck.. I am going to ask him to find out what black shirts he can find for me and make my final decision. :)

Ill probably put them in the trade sell section for like 1.00 each (i paid like 3.00 each for shipping but i got other items too) I also have to double check how many i really have!

yah the gifts are so cool, especially if your ordering from them anyway, never know when you could need an extra gift for mom or mother in law :)

I already ordered notecards from there for my sister (MOH) and another great friend (BM). I was very happy with them.

Your programs are beautiful... what were they "originally" listed as... notecards, invitations, etc..?? I don't see a "program" listing in Vista Print??

But, if I can find it... I'm doing exactly what you are doing - I am soooo happy with their stuff so far!! I've gotten FOUR shipments from them now! :bbredface: Luv everything - except one set of notecards I got "glossy" and I don't like the glossy anything - I like the matte or the linen.
