I was wondering, for all of those who are already married...
What is your biggest regret:
a. Personally and b. Financially?
I mean did you not enjoy the day because you were too caught up in details, did you worry too much about something? And did you spend too much money on something that ended up being a bust?
I am trying to get ready for my wedding and I need to know where to NOT spend too much money because our budget just got much smaller. (long story, stocks suck can summarize it though) Also, I was just curious about the personal "i didn't enjoy it enough because ...." stuff!
Thankx ladies!

You know, I didn't enjoy the planning process AT ALL, because we were doing something that was nothing like the wedding I dreamed of (yes, I was one of those fluffy little girls who was planning her wedding since she was 6). I was full of worries that I would regret going along with DH's idea for a tiny, completely untraditional destination wedding.
But when that day arrived, it was perfect! Perhaps it was because my expectations were so low, but I couldn't imagine a better wedding if I tried! Everyone, especially DH and I, had a wonderful time, and nobody noticed where we scrimped, which was on basically everything except the location, food, drink, and cake.
So, though I thought I would have regrets, I really have none.

I have no regrets at all. I loved the way our wedding turned out. It did cost a little bit more than what we thought it would. But it all turned out just perfect. I love it all.

Everything went well for my wedding. Except...
1. I just wish our ceremony was a little longer.
2. They gave me rectangle tables instead of round grr.
3. We didnt get any "fun" shots of the wedding party.
Otherwise I think our money was well spent. And our budget wasnt all that big.

That i didn't plan every little thing for my reception.. Obviously it was too hard for the people at my venue to follow through. Oh, and to count more than needed, because putting out another table was, you know, a horrible thing that shouldn't be done. lol
