We after mush discussion and thought, we decided to get ourselves a dog. I'm allergic to most short haired shedding dogs, but I've found that I can tolerate the long haired toy breeds just fine. After a lot of research, we decided a Maltese was the dog for us! We found a fantastic breeder very near us and she just happened to have a 13 week old little boy that was just deemed ready for a pet home. She breeds them for show, but this little guy had too many faults for that. He's perfectly healthy, just not quite up to show standards....and he's perfect for me! I've already gotten sooo attached to him. He's so smart and such a little love. I just adore him. So without further ado, here's Jazz!

He's a little bitty thing, he only weighs just over 2 lbs. He's all fluff! Well one of his favorite past times is tearing up paper towels. It's about the best game ever. He doesn't eat them, just tears them up and spits them out. He has the time of this life.

Awwwww he's adorable!!!!!

My aunt had a maltese. Muffin was a great dog! :)

That puppy is absolutely adorable!! I am so jealous. We can't get a dog until we settle down somewhere, whenever THAT will be!! Congratulations!!

Awww Jazz is a Handsome Chap.

Our neightbour has Two. When they go for walkies it's like Two Little Lambs going down the road.

Glad He found a loving home after the Breeder deemed Him not good enough for show.

You may have heard of "Crufts" Dog Shows in the UK.
For mix breeds and those not up to show standard can enter into "Scruffs" instead.

A maltese is a great choice! I have one and she's the most lovey little thing! She always has to have human contact and gets so excited everytime I come home! Sofia had a thing for paper towel rolls, not so much the paper towels. Congrats on your new fur-baby! He's a cutie!

Oh he is a cotton ball with legs! So cute. They are such good dogs. I had a friend who had one and it was a total sweetheart.

Cute; congrats!

Both my dogs love to shred paper and TP and such! It always makes me laugh cause they don't eat it and I just wonder what the fascination is ;)

Thank you all! I just adore him. He's got so much spunk and he's so fun. He's settling in wonderfully. He's already well on the way to be spoiled utterly!

Just be prepared...no matter what he does, not matter how bad he is, you'll just have to look at the little cutie and then you won't be angry anymore! lol, Sofia never gets in trouble cause she's just so darn cute! He looks just like her, too! Sofia got in the trash once (there have been MANY times), but one time she found a to-go box with some left-over barbecue sauce in it. When we got home all we could do was look at her and laugh at how cute she looked with red barbecue sauce all over her head! :rofl:
