TOO FUNNY on these cakes!!!!! I saw one on TV that they used beer cans for the dividers UGH LOL.......You can try Wilton.com for some pics. Cake decorators share their pics there all the time. I am going to do my own cake for my wedding. I did my brother's wedding so I know the time involved in it. I am going to do a dummy cake form cake and serve people sheet cake.

I've always liked ones like this, but I think a lot of our relatives would gasp and say "How inappropriate!"

I've been searching for a cake topper with a taller bride and shorter groom for me and FH, since that is the way it is, but I can't find one :(

Where did you find it? It's awesome. I was looking at ball & chain cufflinks for the FH but he's looking at these lego ones instead.

I've been looking for something..but i'm not really sure what it is. lol. I do not want to spend $100 on a cake topper. The only reason we'll have a cake is because it comes with our wedding package, lol.

I was thinking of Homer & Marge at the prom but there are no plain cake toppers of it. I keep finding ones with a buttload of flowers and decorations on it. I would have to buy the playset i think and glue them to a base.

we are hving ours made by the baker, the cake will be tall iced white with ice bergs around it and 2 married penguins on top - the attached picture is the inspiration pic we gave her and its also the one we used for our eng invites it all ties in.

My Farmer sure loves his tractor so our topper will be of me pulling him by his colar while he's running for his tractor. Haha we are super excited! And then the other topper will be of us snowboarding down the cake!

Don't quite know how it happened, and it 's a while back now, but we couldn't find the topper we wanted for our western theme so I got a couple of tiny teddybears, decked the groom out in tiny black suit with black Stetson and the bride with white veil and little white skirt and top and they became the topper. On a lower level were stone boulders, hard riding cowboys and occasional fencing. It was very cute.

Me and my fiance are having a Dragon Ball Z themed cake, just found a Goku and Chichi kissing figurine on ebay (after months of searching) :] thought it was better than the traditional cake, and im having alot of con friends there adn they will appreciate it!

At first we were thinking about doing a 'normal' cake. But after seeing cake after cake after cake of the same thing, we looked for an option that would be different... and not blow the budget.

It's a cupcake on the bottom, a donut hole in the middle, and dollop of buttercream on the top... all glazed with white lemon icing and then decorated. We thought it would be sickeningly expensive to get custom-made cakes for everyone in the wedding... but when just simply asked a rural bakery... they were willing to make 180 of these cakes for $2 each. Score!

edit: We also had them make a small cake for us to cut, which we had snowman-themed cake toppers. We got married Dec 29 in Minnesota, so the snowman theme worked. :)

I'm chatting with a friend of mine, he mentioned he could make our custom wedding topper. I was proposed to during a game of dominoes (that's our favorite date night activity) and I almost always win, lol...so we wanted to do a scene of the two of us around a domino board and me slamming one down and him with his hand in his head..I thought it was a cute idea. We're also giving out domino sets as wedding favors..
