Then it would just depend on the colors your wanting to go with, but personally I like #1 the best; very classy & looks like it really "goes" with the style of the dress.

I like the simplicity of #1, but does the pattern go with your wedding style?

Depending on what colours the purses can come in and the colour of their dresses..?

I prefer # 1 as well.

Are you giving them these purses as a gift? If you are asking them to purchase them themselves then just get over the concept and let the carry whatever clutch they have in their closet. Your bridesmaids will be shelling out big bucks for all the wedding activities and really don't want to shell out additiional cash for a purse they may not carry in the future and in reality no one will ever notice, it isn't like you carry your handbag down the aisle as a bridesmaid.

Are you a bitter bridesmaid or something? Since you arrived here, you have done nothing except project the worst intentions onto the brides here and told them to get over themselves.

I'm sorry if you were the victim of some crazy bridezilla (I've been there before, as I was a bridesmaid six times), but seriously, you need to chill out. Most of the girls here are very easy-going, and they don't make their bridesmaids break the bank.

If yoiu want them all to match then be prepared to purchase it as a gift for your bridesmaids! I found all of the choices as pretty, but nothing that I want to carry outside of a wedding. I have been a BM in several weddings and frankly more brides are amazingly ridiculous. One bride wanted us all to wear matching thongs! Who is going to see my thong????

Wow, matching thongs?! That made me LOL.

I'm just 99% sure it is a gift. Most of the girls here include day-of accessories in their bridesmaid gifts. I have a bunch of little glitzy evening bags my brides gave me, along with hair clips and those sterling silver jewelry sets with all of the sparkly crystals. I did the same for my girls... I hope they'll reuse them, but if not, they can ebay them or something.

No one is going to notice the BM's purse and realize that they will more often than not end up in a garage sale with a $1 sticker on them. Spend your money on something useful that people will notice. Purchase an expensive bottle of wine to share with your wedding party or have a photo printed and framed of the two of you from the wedding for the BM that she can display after the lavish affair. Handbags are a very personal decision.

Maybe I'm just a sentimentalist, but I still have and sometimes even wear all of the pretty little things my brides gave me. I'm going to be accessorizing with an old BM necklace and this awesome silver evening bag (from different brides, but hey, they look cute together) to a holiday party this year!
