Ladies~
Please enlighten me with the order in which you conducted your reception. I'm having a beach wedding/reception but am still doing all the traditional first dances, garter/bouquet, toasts, and cake. I am having a really hard time deciding the order of everything. I originally wanted to do our first dance right as we walked in, but now I'm thinking we should do something cheezy for the entrance, and have the first dance later? Please help! Thanks

Ours went like this:
Cocktail hour while photos are being taken
Introduction of bride and groom
First dance
Blessing
Toasts
Dinner
Cake Cutting
(We did not do the parent dances since my MIL hurt her knee but they would have been here)
Anniversary Dance --> We did this in lieu of the Bouquet and garter toss
My DJ made the suggestions. Have you talked to you DJ about the order of things?

Thanks ladies! We're not having a DJ. We're just using our IPOD (Destination beach wedding) My sister is doing a few announcements, and well end up saving about $900.00
