Our unprofessional e-pic redo!

As you may know, I wasn't very pleased with our professional engagement pics, and was even less pleased with the pricetag for their prints. So, FH and I broke out the old tripod today and took our own e-pics. (And in case anyone is wondering, we're wearing the same outfits because we're trying to get a picture for our sandframe and the sand we have is white and blue, so, white and blue outfits.. I'm a dork.)

Love the pictures, FH and I are also probably going to try to do our own too. We might have our photographer that is doing our wedding do it. We might just do them twice so that way we can compare.

They're great! I figure we'll do the same. I have a nice camera and a tripod, and even a cable release.

WOW they look great...I like the one of you guys sitting on the ledge with FH only showing one leg and your legs are crossed. I also like the fountain ones!

I think it's nice to see matching colours. The photos look great. Love the Fountain ones.

We've booked an Hour session at a Studio for some photos. They had a special offer on in the Shopping Centre. Just waiting for the Photographer to phone us to arrange a sitting.

Might do an "Engagement" photo even if it is after the Wedding.

Images taken in full, direct, bright sun often result in either squinting and/or 'raccoon eyes' (where your brow makes a shadow in your eye socket). It also makes it hard to wear white as it blows out.

I'm glad you are happy with them. If you try them again (as it seemed like you were having fun... so why not?) see if you can position yourselves in shadow and then perhaps use a flash (or not).

Just an idea... Have fun at the wedding, we did sand too!

We have a mix of pictures--I posted 7 out of 50 that were taken--with a little sun and a little shadow and a little of both. Thanks for the tip though.

I luv all of those pics. I have very few pics of FH and I. One is taken at the airport when I flew back to NYC, but I don't like how I look in that pic cuz I have a rash on my chin. Am I the only woman that gets a rash if a guy has facial hair or stubble? The other is of us at his grandmother's house on his college graduation day. I'm hoping to get a good one when I move to Ohio.
