KMS

I made a smoothie this morning because I needed a really quick breakfast to take with me. I found this recipe the other day so I decided to try it. With the holiday season coming up I think that I will be able to pass up a serving of my favorite calorie laden pumpkin pie since I can whip this smoothie up! It has about 150 - 200 calories a serving depending on what milk you use. If you enjoy pumpkin pie then I think that you would really enjoy this. I did!
Pumpkin Pie Smoothie
serves 2
1 banana, frozen
1 cup milk or dairy substitute
1/2 cup unsweetened pumpkin puree
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1 T maple syrup
Directions - BLEND! :D
I used hemp milk in mine. If you can get your hands on some you will not regret it. It is super creamy, a little nutty, and about ten million times healthier than dairy. (I think it's the healthiest milk substitute.) Today I used just a touch of agave, but next time I'll try it with some pure maple syrup because I think that would make it extra good.
Pumpkin in a smoothe - odd, but great!
