I decided it was time to start up a Journal!! I have read through a few and they are so neat and interesting to see how everyone met and how the planning is coming along!!
How we met:
Kyle and I met at work..we worked different shift him 3-11pm me 11pm-9am..I did not care for him the first time I met him. He made some smart comment to me without evening knowing me. Then I started relieving him at work and we would chat and end up talking for hours before he would leave. Come to find out he was almost 2 years younger then me. He eneded up moving to a differnt location then I was working so I didn't get to see him much. myself and a friend found him on AIM and started chatting with him. ended up calling me and came over and the rest is history. We have been together ever since..that was 4 years ago. We have had our ups and downs but in the end it was all worth it.
the proposal:
It was 7:30am( I did not know the time at first)..I was sleeping really hard.. we didn't get to bed until after 1am. I felt my dogs jumping on my bed and I woke up to yell at them ( I am not a morning person).. I saw Kyle standing at the end of the bed playing with my dog and started getting upset with him, telling him to stop I was trying to sleep. I then noticed that there was something hanging around my dogs neck. (I did not have my contact or glasses on so I didn't know what it was) Kyle came around the bed and got down on one knee and took the ring off the ribbon around the dogs neck. Kyle then asked me If I would marry him. Well I GUESS, He had to ask me twice because I WAS to busy asking him where and when he got the ring hahaha..and of course I said yes!!!! I then realized what time it was and couldnt even call my mom because she was on her way into work! I had to wait a whole hour before I could start making Phone calls!!!
Wedding plans:
We are getting Married Oct. 3rd 2009. We are getting married in the church my parents got married in, We booked our reception in the Grand Ball room at The Comfort Inn..it is soooo beautiful..I haven't been able to find pictures of it yet but when I do I will put some up. I have my bridesmaid dresses picked out and have 2 maids of honor and 8 bridemaids, 3 flower girls and 1 ring bearer. FH has 2 bestmen and 8 groomsmen. Our colors are Pink and brown.
Well that is it for now..I am sure there will be more when I can think of it!! welcome to my Journal!!:D
