View Full Version : So I went to Dollar Tree to pick up my direct order....

and when I got there I decided to take a look around while I waited for them to pull my order. I found some really neat stuff.
1. Two teddie bears $1 each. We were planning on using them for the underage crowd. My friends and family can get a little rough when they go for the garter and bouquet and i don't want any squashed five year olds. So we decided to do a bear toss with a ten dollar walmart card attached. One boy and one girl.

2. Glow stick wands and swords $1 each. We are having a relaxed exening party at the end of the day to supply dinner for everyone at my FMIL land. (The reception itself is going to be noonish) I couldn't resist these and at a dollar a piece, I don't feel like Im splurging to much. Im sure the kids will love them.

I LOVE DOLLAR TREE.

me too. i bought stuff to make centerpieces for the home i worked at for developmentally disabled adults last thanksgiving. we did it together. I spent $14 and we made cornicopias with fruits veggies and sun flowers tumbling out.

Aw thats sweet I hadn't thought about getting stuff for the underage crowd. But I did get somethings for our centerpieces. Those nice grapevine wreaths at a $1 a piece, to go around the mason jar centerpieces and just add a little something extra. Much better than paying $4 a pop, somewhere else!

I love the glow swords! They make me want to go to my nephews and have a light saber fight.

Awww look at those cute little bears. So sweet. :D

We have £-Shops here in the UK. I love them.

Bought FH's Grandson his own Mobile Phone. He's got a Flip-Top one like "Nanny-Moos".
He's always picking up His Mums and shouting "Grandad" and "Nanny-Moo".

Also got some great glossy Red Plates £1 each. Bought Two Round, Two Square and Two Oblong. We plan to use them at the Wedding for the Buffet. Then We can use them again at Christmas.

Those kind of shops are great for stocking fillers and obviously Weddings too. :D
