http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/12/12_13_2.gif Yum, that's sounds so good. No, nothing so far. Hopefully, Amber has some margarita plans for tonight, and then I'll just invite myself! http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/11/11_4_123v.gif

Cinco de Mayo is the Mexican Independence Day. It is the day when they got their independence from Spain. Mexicans are different anyway when it comes to mourning. Have you ever heard of Day of the Dead or Dia de las Muertos? It is celebrated in Mexico around Halloween time. It sounds like a morbid holiday, but actually they are celebrating the lives of the people that have passed. It is actually a very festive and religous occasion for them. I think it's kinda of cool. Their decorations are awesome and if you ever get the chance to be in Mexico around this time I would highly reccommend it! Mexican people really know how to have a good time!
Just a side note (because I am a Texan and I am biased because of this) don't you think it is funny that everyone knows when Cinco de Mayo is (A Mexican holiday), but not many people could tell you when the Texan Independence Day is and Texas is in the U.S? It is March 2 by the way.

I love the Ultra too. I also have been dieting (have to lose 3" for that dress to zip). If I want a drink though, I just drink Jack and water. Much better for you.
I have just really been watching the caloric intake. I eat alot of Lean Cuisine's. I have lost 15 pounds total..
Happy Cinco De Mayo!!! (couldn't use white or you couldn't see it)

Hmmmm, I always heard it was Mexico's Indepenence Day as well. Great link Cindy! But even here they say it is a day that celebrates freedom and liberty so that is probably where people get the whole Indepenence thing.
I didn't do much of anything today ;)

I guess I was wrong too. I thought it was when they got their independence from Spain. Oh well. But in response to that article, to the credit of the French, they did help us win the Revolutionary War. But then again we've had many ups and downs with the French.
