My photographer's brother passed

My photographer is driving an hour away to do my pics but her brother passed away this last 2 weeks the funeral and everything is over but I know she is probably still grieving. She was going to do our engagement pics before the wedding (5 weeks away), but I don't wanna call her. We kinda started talking about it and then after all this just stopped. Which I completely understand. When do I call her to ask her to do them or I was thinking of just forgetting them and just do wedding pics but engagment pics were included in the package oh what do I do?

Oh no - thats so sad to hear. Maybe wait a couple more days to a week and just give her a ring. Hopefully she will still be able to honor her commitment or have someone else to use to replace her. Good luck and let us know how things turn out.

It is nice of you to think of her feelings, but life and her business still has to has to go on. I would call her and give her your condolences, but ask her how she wants to handle your engagement session.
