Went to see Nickelback last night with FH. He got Two Tickets as an early Wedding Present to Me.
It was at the O2 in London. A venue built for the Millenium Party and lay empty until the Mobile Phone Company O2 decided to make good use of it. And Wow! What a venue. Every single seat has 100% view of the stage. No Columns holding the roof up to sit behind. And the sound was Brilliant.
Staind supported Nickelback so We got Two good Bands for the price of One.
We were up in the gods on seats. Because We left it late too get Tickets and ended up findng them on eBay. But i didn't care. I was there and had a fantastic time.
Apart from the battery being flat on the Digi-cam. After i took a big risk and smuggled it through a search at the doors. Then my Mobile Phone packed up after i managed to get Two Photos before the Show. I suppose that will teach Me for talking to a Friend while Staind were on. Or should i say scream down the Phone to be heard over the noise of Electric Guitars LOL.
FH bought Me a T-shirt and a New Baseball Cap. (Gotta hide the Grey Hair until the Wedding LOL)
It took Me Years to finally get round to seeing Nickelback Live. And i'll certainly get Tickets the next time they are in the UK.
Now just got to wait for AC/DC to Tour and then Iron Maiden. But in the meantime i have DirtyDC and Hi-ON Maiden Tribute bands to see Two Weeks after Our Wedding.
Then My world is complete :rofl:
