Well lets just start off by saying that we are getting married on August 29 2009 in Wisconsin. Me and Fh met when I was just a freshman in Hs. We dated for 5 years and then just grew apart, he was 3 years older and wanted to go out to the bars that i couldnt get into. We split up for five years, in that time I was engaged and had a baby, but that didnt work out( very long story) Fast forward five years and we see each other out in our home town. He asked if he could come over to my house because he had a letter that he wanted me to read.So he came over the next night with the a letter ( dated like 2 months before that) saying how much he missed me and wished we had never ended things the way we did. After just being friends for a month or so we started dating again and we have been happy for almost 3 years.
The way he proposed is the sweetest thing . Im a huge chinese food fan and we go to my local restaurant like 3 times a month. One day he calls me at work and and asks if I just want to go out to eat tonight, of course I say yes.So we go out to eat, have my daughter and neice along, no big deal.
The end of the meal comes with the check, and I just grab the fortune cookies and just start eating them,they are my fav. Well he reaches into his pocket and pulls out another cookie, me not really paying attention to him, just the kids. He hands me the cookie and says that I have to read this one it is for me. I open up the cookie and read the inside" (My name)I have always loved you with all my heart will you marry me?" He then got down on one knee in front of me and everyone in the restaurant and pulled the ring out of his pocket.
