My daughter is 17 months. She has definately got her momma's allergies big time. I belong to a mommy forum for our area, and they are suggesting Benedryl. That their peds told them its ok. Is there an Infant Benedryl. Ive only seen Childrens benedryl. If i give the childrens. How much do I give a 22 lbs 17 month old?

I would suggest putting in a quick call to your doctor or pediatrician, just to be sure. :)

Hmmm, I don't think they have a benedryl for infants. I would wait for a call from the ped. In the meantime, go into the bathroom, shut the door, and turn the shower on HOT HOT HOT. (don't get in)

Let the bathroom steam up. The steam will help until you can figure out what the ped wants you to do.

If you have a vaporizer, it's the same deal, but if you don't, the shower works in a pinch.

Well her dr said they sometimes prescribe childrens benedryl at low dosage. But he said for her to give her 3/4 tsp Childrens Claritin non drowsy. we also found out she has a double ear infection as well. So along with claritin, we have amoxicillin too. :(

Best bet is to always call a DR!
