Has anyone ordered their flowers from Costco or Sams Club? I havent looked around too much, but so far they are pretty reasonably priced for calla lillies. Let me know if you know or have heard about how their flowers are when delivered, and if they're delivered on time!

We used flowers from Costco for my GF's wedding. I went and picked them up, along with the cake for her reception. I'm not sure about the delivery thing, but the flowers we got were bright and beautiful! :D

We didn't order them but we did pick the flowers (roses and mixed flowers) up from Costco the morning of the wedding and I made my own bouquet, bouts, corsages etc. I couldn't have been happier with the quality and the price.

We plan on ordering our flowers from Sam's. Since the store is really close to my dad's house (and our venue), we may just pick them up rather than having them delivered.

I used to work for Sams Clubs call center and they are awesome. They bend over backwards for wedding flowers. Vary rarely did the flowers not work out.The once in forever that the shipping company messed it up, sams club refunded flowers and shipping in full and did the dirty work of calling all the nearby florists to get your order together and paid for it themselves. Leaving the bride with free flowers for the stress. lol I would recommend Sams anyday.

I'll soon find out - I'm in charge of flowers for my cousin's wedding next week (10/4). We've ordered gerbera daisies from Sams, globalrose.com, and flowersandfreshness.com. I price-checked all over, and we decided to order from a couple different places just to ensure that if one order went awry we would have another option. Most likely, everything will come in beautifully and we'll have an abundance of flowers (not really a major problem!).
I'll be sure to report back on how the flowers turn out, as well as have pictures of the final product - 1 "giant" bridal bouquet, 4 bridesmaid bouquets, and corsages/boutonnieres for 15. Given that we've ordered a total of 180 full gerberas and 70 mini gerbs, I think we'll have plenty of excess to scatter around the hall.

Just an update on the sams club flowers -- they were AWESOME!!! Head and shoulders above the other wholesalers we used (which still turned out fine, but we had to toss maybe 5% of the flowers due to ship damage).
We got 80 orange and 80 "hot color mix" gerbera daisies from sams, and they were so carefully packed - plastic tubes around the stems and little nets around every flower head, which was the major step above the other two sellers - there wasn't a single flower in the 160 which wasn't in perfect condition out of the box. They were packed in bunches of 5-6 gently rubberbanded together, with plastic sleeves and floral food around each bunch (they were the only one to include food). It took a fair bit to unpack, but it just showed how well packaged they were.
I wouldn't have minded using those flowers straight out of the box, even after they'd been dry-packed for about 48 hours. Once they spent the night in water, they perked up into the most gorgeous flowers I think I've ever seen (I wish I were exaggerating!)
Obviously, I can't vouch for the calla lilies directly, but based upon gerberas being a pretty finicky flower and seeing the care they took with these, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend sams club for any floral order. I was kind of nervous since they were the cheapest option, but they were definitely the best!
I have another cousin getting married in July who wants orchids - I'll be ordering her flowers from sams, and skipping the other vendors! (Just wish they did daffodils - I'd use them for my April wedding too!)
I'll get pictures up as soon as they come back from my uncle (who did all the "pro" pictures) - best of luck with the flowers!

I prefer Costco, but I work there...I've never had any one complain to me about the flowers there. And they can order almost any flower on earth with only 72 hours notice. During the "wedding season" I wouldn't cut it that close but they could do it.

Update on our Sam's Club flowers. I would order from them again in a heartbeat. They were well-packaged and came with easy, step-by-step directions. The flowers turned out to be gorgeous.

We're going to go with Costco just because we have a membership there, though I think I might call my florist and see if she can pick up 100 more bulk roses, if it'll be less than Costco.
We need them for the cake and for the table centerpieces. And the vases for the guest book/card basket table. Etc.
Costco's flowers continually amaze me. They don't have many to display in the store where we shop, ever, but what they do have always looks nice and is clearly high quality. Right now they are displaying 'spring' bouquets with Asiatic and other big lily types and the flowers are beautiful.

I just finished a wedding for an attorney from Tallahasse, FL. We ordered the calla lillies from cosco. We had them delivered on Tuesday for a Thursday evening wedding. They were beatiful and very easy to arrange. I will gladly send you some pictures if that is possible. The bride and guest were amazed by the arrangements and bouquets.
Has anyone ordered their flowers from Costco or Sams Club? I havent looked around too much, but so far they are pretty reasonably priced for calla lillies. Let me know if you know or have heard about how their flowers are when delivered, and if they're delivered on time!

Simple solution:Dont go to the Wallmart/Costco/Sams. Go to the Wallmart/Costco/Sams distrobution hub for your area. Thats where the big trucks come in and then distribute everything out to the stores. No shoppers there and ususally in a much easier to secure area.
