"I DO" cake table letters

I wanted to share how my "I DO" letters came out. This is a picture of our cake table! Gorgeous cake with the gorgeous letters! :grinhappy: I also wrapped some pink sheer ribbon around a pillar candle and put it in a hurricane vase for a little more oomph! The two small boquets are the ones our mothers carried. We bought those instead of corsages.

Very pretty! I am borrowing your idea for our wedding. Only Fh wanted to do our entire last name in a wood finish so that we can hang it on the wall in our home after the wedding ( I thought it was sweet of him to think of that).

But love your cake & the letters! I also like the way you did the candle very creative!

Those turned out really neat. I have the letters to do mine, I just haven't gotten around to it yet. I'm thinking about using metallic silver paint, if I can find it to match our wedding colors.

I love your cake table too...until joining OW I never heard of the "I DO" letters..but I am really thinking about doing them!! I was not much of a DIY person until I started planning this weddding..Now I want to dooo everything lol! very pretty!!!:grinhappy:

I wish I would have seen your cake before my wedding! It's beautiful and in the same colors we had at our wedding! The way the cake table is put together is absolutely perfect! :D

Breckan - I loved the "I DO" idea SO much that when I went to Joanne's today, I bought my own letters to do that with!! (I hope you're flattered!). You painted them, right? I'm thinking of doing deep purple on the top, with a lighter purple on the side, covered in silver glitter (sides only) as our colors are silver and purple and white, and the tablecloth will be white. I'm so excited to get started :)
