Isn't she awful!!!!! The Megan chick that bought her BM a bigger dress because "I think you gained weight and you have fat oozing out" I'm watching right now, they have actually put her in FOUR episodes I think that is a record! I'm getting angry watching it! I keep wanting to change the channel but I keep watching hoping her man leaves her or someone punches her face in! She has called everyone including her mom and idiot she called her dad d!ck head. OK I;m sorry but her parent needed to get control of that when she was a kid, how do you become a monster like that! How does she have friends! She is screaming at both parents and they just take it, someone needs to slap her!
How can a person be that way? I would hate to be her, what a nasty existence, she must be a miserable person. That poor poor sap that married her, he must have a weird fetish.... she won't even let him talk to her friends anymore....

That Megan girl made me angry too! I hated how she kept saying that she OWNED her husband and that she wasn't going to allow him to have any friends once they were married.:irked:
I hope she was acting for the show, and that she really isn't that bad. But then again, who would want to portray that type of person on television?

I have been WAITING for someone to bring this up! Everytime I hear "It's my special day, I'ts all about me" I get actual flash backs of that show. I have to tell myself to take a deep breath, that the girls on here don't necesarily mean it the way it is meant on the show.
I agree Megan is awful, but the worst one EVER is the one from New York about a month ago. Can't think of her name but she was just nasty nasty nasty.
FH watched it once, shook his head and said I love you honey. :bbeek:

DH also thanked me for not being that way after watching this show lol, we were sitting on the sofa I was watching while he was on his laptop and at one point that Megan chick did something nasty and he sat there with his mouth hanging open lol.
Then when she threw his shirt in the toilet DH laughed and said thank you for not being a b!tch like that lol DH was given a shirt with a bride and groom on it that said game over, I laughed it's funny!

OMG I'm watching the one someone was talking about before that the chick walked out of the nail salon OMG I want to reach through the tv and slap her!!!! She is acting like it's such an honor to go to her wedding and keeping her in laws out and saying "I'm sorry if I have a sugar daddy and he likes to pay for things" she told her BM you are replaceable...people like that should be forced to stay on birth control for the rest of their lives.... lol
This show and that MTV show my super sweet 16... I watch them hoping that something happens and they don't get their way lol yeah I'm mean....
ok I need to change the channel, she just went into the nail salon again demanding her money back the day after they did them. they offered to give her her money back if they take the nails off but she wanted to keep the nails on and get her money back...oh brother...

We can't watch Bridezillas in our house! Fiance came home one night to hear me yelling at somebody, so he came charging into the living room . . . only to find me about to throw the remote at the television because I was so incensed at the way the bridezilla was behaving.
I'm not allowed to watch the show now :) Fiance says he doesn't want me turning into 'one of those'. !!!!!
He's just kidding, but I think I alarmed him at how intense I was getting. Man, those girls really dink me off. I'm sure the producers pick the worst ones!

I saw one a while back where the girl and guy were actually getting married for a second time. When he proposed and gave her the ring, she got mad (can't remember exactly why...maybe there weren't enough diamonds for her) and started cussing/yelling at him. Then she threw her ring in her drink. She was horrible! I think she may be the same one that amisteratwisterandme mentioned earlier that got mad because her dad brought a birthday cake for her sister to her rehearsal...

Oh I remember her! She was a piece of work!
You know something? I understand that planning a wedding is stressful and you just want things to go right and everyone to behave and sometimes you say things that you don't mean, but these ladies are just downright mean/rude! At the risk of sounding rude myself, I really hope that their attitudes are because of the wedding, because I could never marry somebody like that, much less be around them for any length of time!!!!

That show is like a trainwreck! You know you should turn the channel but you dont, you get sucked in. My FH was beyond words watching some of these brides! And people wonder why the divorce rate is so high! I assume it's because all the men finally realize that their wives are MENTAL!

I'm sure a lot of it is scripted or at least encouraged, and I'm sure there are incentives for acting out... Like gaining fame through notoriety! You have to love that stuff! These girls agree to let a crew follow them around and capture tha absolute worst moments in exchange for a three night stay somewhere. I agree that megan was bad, but there was a blonde actress wanna-be a few months ago. She was re-marrying someone, and her clueless idiot fiance went through with it! She was wretched to her own daughter, to her future husband, to her future family, absolutely everyone. Even his attorney asked him what in the world he was doing. My FH watches with me.... so he will know how lucky he is that I am NOT like that!!

Has anyone ever seen an episode where the groom finally has had enough??
My friend (who is actually getting married, but is no where near a Bridezilla) and I love to talk about this show. We both like to watch them with our respective guys but then talk about them on the side. :)
She pointed out one time that she has observed that the brides on this show usually display these qualities:
1. blonde (my friend is also blonde, lol)
2. big-hoop earrings
3. diminutive fiancee (do not put up a argument; woman wears the pants....)
So, the next time we watched the show, I happened to remember her "checklist" and sure enough!! The crazy *itch met all 3 criteria!! I can't believe girls who behave this way can find a man!!

haha, me and my girl made the same checklist! but we added something, i won't share lol
and yep! we really loved the bride who her and her FH couldn't/wouldn't tell just HOW they'd gotten together, but it was apparent, the night they got together, made a daughter! and the bride kept trying to keep the stepmom away, all kinds of things, including pouncing on the groom's family at an easter picnic!

What's really funny... in a recent episode, a bridezilla was being her *itchy self and was really mean/rude to everyone. Well once the episode aired, her PO got in contact with her and now she has to do some jail time. Turns out she was arrested in high school or something for fighting and it was in her "terms" that she not show any aggression towards others.
Here is the story:
http://www.fox6now.com/news/witi-090803-racine-bridezilla,0,4874992.story
WITI-TV, MILWAUKEE - A Racine woman was told to go directly to jail after her appearance on a popular reality show that portrays brides behaving badly.
Karee Gibson's dream of acting has turned into a nightmare. The 21-year-old aspiring actress is now in jail after participating in several episodes of the cable reality show Bridezilla's.
Racine police picked her up at her home Monday afternoon. Her loved ones say she was arrested even after she agreed to report to the county jail on her own.
Gibson is on probation for a fight that happened when she was in high school. The 21-year-old wife and mother says she took part in the show Bridezilla's as a way to fulfill her life long dream of acting, and as a way to pay for her wedding. Family members say the woman shown on television is not who Karee truly is.
Gibson is in jail, because her probation officers feels her out of control behavior on the show is a violation of her probation.
Gibson's attorney Alan Eisenberg has filed an emergency petition for her release. Eisenberg said, "If you want to discipline somebody you don't have to lock them up there has to be a justification for taking away somebody's freedom and that have not explained any to me not any."
Maybe this will teach a lesson to other bridezilla b*tches! LOL

Hm..
That's weird. My FMIL has always recorded all episodes of Bridezillas (even before we got engaged) and we watch them when we go over there for supper... So, i haven't seen every single one, but I wouldn't say they were all blonde..

However, I do LOVE that show!!
I used to tease my FH before we got engaged that I was all nice and quiet for now - but as soon as I got the ring I'd turn into one!

First of all....that just cracks me up when I heard about that on the news! She was out of control and I would have slapped her a couple of times if I were any of those people she was lipping off to! dang MRSDM!!!
small world, eh?!
i think it's hilarious as all hell!
although, to an extent, i do think that something that happened such a long time ago, should sure not be used now! i think it's ridiculous to an extent, that knowing full well that she was pretty much "acting" to a certain degree, that a PHYSICAL fight in HIGH SCHOOL is nothing compared to being a bridezilla! even boxing with the FMIL, well, the FMIL agreed, and they "sparred" just as they would have in a class.....that's like saying, if she takes boxing as a "anger management" course, that she's being abusive and physical....
just my 2 cents....

It is embarrassing, but she's from Racine. Not anywhere too close to you and me! I still find it hilarious. I didn't see the episode besides the clips they showed on Fox 6. FH and I laughed our butt's off when we first saw it on the news! Embarrassing yes. Entertaining? YES! The gal at where we are getting the tux's told us she actually worked with a bridezilla while they were taping. I guess her family owns a banquet hall (somewhere, I dont remember if this is the bridezilla or not). She did say it's all an act and if you aren't "b*tchy" enough then your episode will not get aired. The producers and whoever really push the brides to be crazy and also give them lines to help them out in that task. And in the end they don't really make a lot of money to do to show. IMO, totally not worth the bad PR on the Bridezilla's image!

I just started watching this show the other day, I leave it on while I do housework...
I have to say my favorite line so far has been...
"The theme for my wedding is 'Me' "
(This is the same girl who required her bridesmaids weigh at least 200 pounds, and cried because people were complaining it was cold in freezing weather...)
The thing is, I have absolutely no doubts that some of this is acted or at least exaggerated... but the fact is... to some extent, these people DO have to be somewhat like this. It just comes way too naturally for some of these girls.

Most reality shows and, sometimes, believe it or not, talk shows are like that.
Producers tell them how to act. They want people to watch the show, not get bored watching some bride plan her wedding and occasionally get out of hand or b**chy.
My aunt had a friend who was on the Maury Show...they paid him big money to make his story up and act like it really happened. I'm sure not all the episodes are like that...But I think the majority of them are.
And it may seem natural to the bridezillas, but that's only because they want the money...I'm sure some of them are bitchy from time to time; most girls are. But some of the sh** that comes out of their mouths is ludicrous and extremely hard to believe that anyone could act that way.
That's why I don't like reality tv. :gurn:

There was one I saw (I don't know if it's already been posted because I didn't take the time to read through the whole thread as I'm at work at the moment) where the girl changed her cake order 2 weeks before the wedding to white cake instead of chocolate, and then went in and said to the camera "I changed my mind and decided I wanted chocolate cake after all, so I'm going to go in there and pretend I never changed the order." She goes in and when the lady was arguing with her about it, she ended up throwing her hand into the cake the bakery had prepared and yelled "I WANT MY CHOCOLATE CAKE!!" and stormed out!
I couldn't believe what I had just seen! If I was that woman at the bakery I would have told her "I think you need to leave. We will not be making your cake."
My fh has threatened me with that show if I ever get out of hand with the wedding planning. :chair: Not that I think I'll actually get that bad, but he's afraid I'm going to get all emotional and freak. lol

Did anyone see this sunday's episode with the Girl from Staten Island NY, what a freakin' nightmare!!!! There is no way someone can act like that in real life.
I went to school in upstate new york with thousands of over privledged snots from Long Island and the NYC area and I cant even imagine them acting like this (and some of them were pretty nasty).

Ok there is a new Bridezilla winner! (of course they seem to get worse and worse as the show progresses).
"Im NOT apologizing to a DOOOOR MAN! he is a DOOOR MAN!"
Someone tell me they saw it??
I watched it and i was thinking the exact same thing.... worse person i have seen in the world. I hope something goes terribly wrong at her wedding... i think she is the only demon that deserves it.
What a complete and uder selfish, self absorbed, pompous *****!!!

One of my best friends in the world is from Staten Island, I am tempted to send her that link and ask if she knows her. It is a SMALL island and everyone seems to know everyone, and she is around our age (maybe a little younger).
Hmmmmm

I just looked up this show cause of this thread (I don't watch tv or have cable). I saw a snippet on youtube. The girl was southern with blonde hair and huge boobs. Does anyone know her name so that I can find the full episode?

I saw this episode and Karen was just awful!! In my opinion she was way out of line and had a lot of nerve downing people. I feel sorry for that poor man who married her and I wonder if this was an act for T.V. The behaviour she displayed is not socially appropiate. She is very fortunate that someone did not kick off in her butt!! She was very rude to the seamstress and fortunate that she continued the work after all of that mouthyness.

I hate this show!
A) who wouldn't be stressed in this kind of situation!
B) who thinks it's ok to glorify it!
I mean kind of want to shake the sh*t out of the people on this show and ask them what makes them think this kind of behavior is acceptable?

Uh, a SMALL island? Seriously? I have relatives there, and it's really not that small...and I don't think that "everyone seems to know everyone". You know it's one of the five boroughs of New York City, right?

I hate the show and whole idea of "bridezilla". A friend of mine was saying that if you capture the right moments of her on her wedding day, people might think she is one. There are stresses - and now, some ignorant people seems to think that way about EVERY bride. I have people in my life who are convinced that I must be like that, no matter how nice, patient, or gracious I have been.

FH likes to call me a bridezilla as a joke and my mom said it once or twice while we were printing invites but only jokingly.... i hate the show and i cant believe that women actually act like that and their friends and family and FHs put up with it. I used to watch it but then i just got tired of watching grown up 3 year olds and everyone around them just go along with all of their craziness..

I watch this show when I can just so I can have a good laugh, yet at the same time I am appauled at the actions of some of these bridezilla's! I know that if my parents ever saw me do or heard me say some of the things that come out of their mouths they would kill me and then beat the living sh!t out of me.
I ususally have to watch it alone...if dad is within earshot and hears some of the stuff that is said he starts complaining and I end up turning it off...
