If there is one thing that I want to do in my life, is to help educate the people around me about infertility. Infertility is in fact a disease. It is not a state of mind, its not about relaxing, its not about trying too hard, it is a health problem. Thanks for watching this video. I'm sorry to have made you cry! This really hit home for me when I saw it. The things that people say to you when you have infertility affecting you is horrendous. If I can help to keep one person from saying something hurtful (either intentionally or unintentionally) I feel as though my struggles will not have been in vain! I sent it to my SIL (my brother's wife) hoping that she would stop telling me that we are trying too hard and that we shoudl just adopt because then I will get Pregnant. Adopting will not make me fertile!! And most people who adopt DON'T get pregnant, they just adopt!!

I startyed bawling. I know that it must be hard, but it never really hit home what it would feel like. I've taken my fertility for granted over the years, and thought in my younger days that it's nature's way of controlling the population. I'm so sorry Shawna, that you have this struggle in your life. I wish that I could make it all better and easier on you. I'll keep you in my thoughts and meditations, and try to send some of this fertile energy your way.

Thanks Carrie! You and I had the same reaction. I could hardly stay looking at it I was bawling so hard! This is something I live with every day, but like I've said, if I can help others to understand, then it might just make all this worth it! Thanks again for your kind and encouraging words!!

Well I got a little teary too ... I know that there are people out there have kid after kid and don't or can't take care of them then there are good people out there that can't. Though I have no desire to have children I can understand how someone would want to.

I don't know how or why this happens and I don't really know what to say to ease your pain ... keep your chin up dear, I just know you will be a mom one day, one way or another :hug:
