So while most of you ladies have waited till AFTER the wedding...

....to chop off your hair.... well, I'm impatient. New hair day = today!

Ended up having about 4" cut off the overall length, and she layered it a lot more, as well as adding a sideswept "bang" (they're not REALLY bangs, they just lay across the side of my forehead... or eyes, at the moment :rofl:)

I also went a shade or so darker with the overall color, and then she added random chunks of a coppery-red throughout (which didn't show up in the pics well).

I'm so diggin it... Mind you, I'm super sweaty (it's some 95 degrees here today) so it's not looking perfect, but I'm really pleased with it.

(and no I'm NOT naked... I have on a strapless top, but didn't realize till I uploaded the pics that I look nekkie!!! :rofl: )

Oh but it looks so good and healthy! I also cut about 4 inches off my hair before the wedding....but my hair was super long so it ended up being about an inch or two longer than yours is now. It really looks good! I LOVE the red, I wish I could pull off a color like that it's beautiful!

Thanks ladies, I'm super happy with it!! FH loved it when he got home last night, too. I just wanted something fun and different, so I really went in and just said "I don't wanna lose more than three or four inches of length, and I want to keep my BASE color close to my natural shade, but other than that, go hog wild, do whatever you want. So she had fun with it.

And the best part? I've got GREAT bedhead. I woke up this morning and just kinda pushed it out of my eyes, and it looks friggin GREAT (and that's even after being at a luau/party last night and being outside in the heat/humidity!). Woo hooo!

That is always a plus! The bad bed head is one of the things I hate about having shorter hair :p
