But he's a pain in the neck, and he's acting very immature.
I can understand he's had a rough few days since he is in the navy, and he's having a hard time on his sub (even though they are in port), but sometimes I just wish he would hear what he's saying...

FH does that sometimes but lately I've gotten to where I call him on it.
If he's being very brash or whatever you want to call it...I just say hey...do you hear what you just said to me?! And alot of times if he doesn't do it right then about thirty minutes later he's apologizing and talking to me about whats' really bothering him.

Maybe try calling him on it...and see if it helps.

my FH has been getting on my nerves lately also.. sometimes telling them to get over themselves and to shut up helps a TON!:D

Communication is probably the HARDEST part of any relationship. I usually start out by saying something like, listen, I really need you to hear me out on this and it works pretty well.

My bosses son is a submarine guy and he had a really hard time adjusting too. Is he a recent recruit? You may have to just bite your tongue for a little while and let him get acclimated. Could you imagine having someone tell you 24/7 what to do, how to walk, when to eat, where to go and so on??? Definately have to give them credit for that!!

That being said, have to agree: MEN :irked:
