FH wanted to take Me to see Nickelback as an early Wedding Present. At first planning to go and see them at Wembley Arena. But before We knew it the venue had Sold Out so i was a bit miffed. I've been wanting to see them for Years.
Anyhow. Last night i went on eBay. (My favourite site along with OW) and found Two Tickets for the Gig at the O2 Arena in London. The Auction was Buy It Now £50 (Approx $98) The face value of the Tickets is £60 for Two so i slammed the Buy It Now Button. The Seller wanted Immediate payment through Paypal. So i clicked that only for Paypal to go into Meltdown during the transaction. :bbcry:
So i quickly e-mailed the seller saying i had the cash and can collect. They are only a Hour and 45 Mins away by Car. Because the Tickets were still registering as "Unsold" i went to bed thnking all was lost.
Got up this morning to see the Auction had ended and thought someone else had got the Bargain. Then when i checked My e-mail the Seller said He had closed the auction because I HAD WON!!!!
We go and collect them Tomorrow Night. I'm jumping through Hoops here. :ura1:
FH is happy because He's finally got Me a Wedding Present i'm going to enjoy. And i'm pleased because the Two of us can jump around like idiots for a couple of Hours.
It'll make a change seeing a Live Band at O2. I've never been there. It's always been Wembley Arena, Earls Court or The London Astoria for Gigs.
Plus FH works just across the river from there so hopefully We can park the Car in the Works Yard.
