Need Help Posting Pics

I am trying to post a pic of J and I, but I can't just put it in the message, I have to make an attached file. How do I put the pic it's self in the msg??

I'm not sure how to attach a photo from a file. But i use photobucket and upload my pictures there. Then once they are up i copy the image [img] tag and paste it into the box where you type. Place it where you want it to be among the text.

You can upload your photos there so that you can make them into an image that you can take the url from and post to this site. :) Hope that helps you!!

I did find that, and started an album, but now I can't figure out how to transfer the pic. UGH, I am sooooooooooo comp illierate sometimes.

I'm sorry! I can't help you out much further as I get so confused and muddled up when trying to explain how to do these things! Brandi is really good with this stuff, perhaps she can give you a hand!! Good luck!

This is how I do it. I hope this helps.

Right click on picture
"Save as" into My Pictures or whatever
Go to Photobucket
Click Browse
Find your picture in My Pictures or wherever you put it & double click
name it in the description part
Click Submit
Go down to your picture and copy the "Img" string
Go back to Onewed
Paste the string into post
Preview it to see if it took.

If you don't have a website you can use Photobucket to upload your pictures with their free account at http://www.photobucket.com/ Once you have your pics loaded then post the URL of the image between the image URL here tags

If you are surfing and want to post a picture you find online you can right click on it and go to 'properties' and get the URL and then copy and paste it the same way as with the Photobucket thing. Although some websites won't let you 'hot link' images that way.

Either way you have to put the URL of the image between the tags.

You can also attach a photo to the post directly from your computer. If you have the digital image on your computer, then go click on the 'Manage Attachments' button under the 'Additional Options' heading below the submit button. Then click the 'Browse' button and find the image you want then hit 'upload' and it should attach to the post.

I think that this should be a sticky. Lots of people have problems posting pics, and this might be a valuable thing to have around. :bbmrgreen:

Maybe l3vi can put up a tech support section with topics like posting pics, signatures and tickers, custom avatars and such. I have seen this kind of thing on other forums before ... what do you say l3vi?
