Working today...

Or not? I am at work, but I really don't feel like actually working today; so, I don't think I'm going to! lol, I will end up doing a little here and there, but I just feel really lazy and sleepy today. I think I'll just catch up on OW and maybe post some more of my wedding pictures up. I have one thing due by noon, but that should only take a few minutes. So, the rest of the day, I'm just going to be lazy! Anybody else doing this today???

I'm going to be lazy too. It's Friday!! My boss isn't here today either.

But my supervisor caught me on OW last week, so I have to be careful, and not be on here too much.

haha ya'll sound like me! My supervisor, God bless her is very understanding about the fact that we have nothing going on right now. so as long as I'm not online when the big boss drops in she doesn't care.

I should enjoy it in another month we'll be slammed til the end of the year:)

Looks like I will be working more than I thought :bbcry:
The boss emailed me and now I have to check our projector lamp inventory and order some things, too. He must have known what I was thinking and decided to give me more work. Not fair!!! At least it won't take very long to get this stuff done! I should be finished pretty quickly; and then I can be lazy!

I have to sneak on here before i go to work. It's the only time of the day i can read all the new posts before anymore replies turn them Orange again. Meaning there's even more posts to read. It's handy being a few Hours ahead from most here. I'm up and about while most of You Ladies are still sleeping.

As for being lazy today. I've had another nightmare day with low staff levels and Weddings booking into the Hotel early. I've been up and down the rooms today like a Fiddlers Elbow.
So i'll read a few posts here. Reply to a few then have a nice early night for a change. Back to work tomorrow. :snide:

There are only five of us who work in this office and we're all really close. I get projects done, surf around, take care of guests, do some more surfing, send some emails, engage in complaining about stupid people with the others, back to surfing. It's very laid back. I'm going to hate leaving this job someday. It's pretty darn close to perfection.

Yup..don't feel like working today either! Thankfully, we have nothing urgent to get out at this point. Just a lot of consults. Plus I have a massive headache, so I feel like just sitting here..doing nothing.

With that, I am treating myself to Olive Garden for lunch today!! YUMMY!!

My shower and Bachlorette Party are this weekend, so I have been pretty useless at work all day today! My boss came in late today, and then siad she had to go run some errands.... I can't wait until I have her job and I can come and go as I please!

We just started a new program at work that goes through December, so I just ahve to track progress between now and then. Then come up with a program by November to start in december. So we are pretty slow too! Just every day appointments which makes the day go by!

It makes you wonder what is the point of having forty hour work weeks. Come to think of it why do we have forty hour work weeks! I can understand for teachers (My wife is one) but for the rest of us I would like to trade-in my forty for say a twenty or so.

I agree! 40 hours/week is too **** long. I am so tired when I get home from work. I just want to eat and go to bed.

I am working but I work from home now. I baby sit. I had 2 kids this summer but am down to 1 now. And with my 2 oldest being in school all day I have the baby and the 4 yr I watch. Days are lazy at times for me. I have to make myself get up and clean and chagne the litter box, put clothes away, starts dinner, and anything else that needs or should be done. I am waiting to hear about a 5 month old that I might be watching. If I do get him I will be a bit busier. Then come Feb. I get a 6 week old. Talk about busy. So i have to get my lazy days in now while I can.

I did work 40 hours a week at a bank. Took it down to 20 after I had the baby. Then got done to stay home. I like this part so much better. Jsut get a couple of more kids to be making the money and I will be even better.

We are knackered! I have been painting and packing between coats of paint all day long. It's vacation so I deserve a beer about now right? LOL

That flow chart is hilarious! I just sent a link to DH - it is like a glimpse into his typical workday - except there is no mention of emailing random craigslist listings to your wife. :rofl:

I have been working on and off today - I had to take the cats to the vet this morning, then a quick meeting with a client at her studio, then another client dropped off some work, and I just finished up one project that was due asap, and am loading up the pictures for the next one...EXCEPT that the next project is actually MY wedding album, since my photographer wants to use it for a sample. :) So I guess I can't really count that as work. :)
