I am just sitting here minding my own business and DH is doing the same. He's playing some sort of game online when all of a sudden I hear a sharp intake of breath and I turn to see his hand on his chest.
He says "OMG I won!"
So ladies, shall I kill him quickly or make it slow and painful?

Omg - my mom does that all the time about the silliest things! It freaks me out every time she does it!! The worst is when we are driving and she gasps like I am about to kill someone, and then says "Oh no, I forgot to water the peas this morning." Grrrrrr.

just chock my fear up to our age and lifestyle ..... I just "got him" and I want to enjoy him for a long while yet :)
DH does it when we are driving too but it's in response to my driving or other people's driving.
Slow and painful huh? Got any good suggestions?

lol Slow & Painful is my vote as well.
Steve does something similar, if I'm in another room & he's laying on the couch/bed/floor whatever and I come in the room and say something to him knowing he's not asleep...he won't answer, so then I say it louder...and then I touch his shoulder/back/chest whatever he's not laying on and try to get his attention...he still won't answer just lays there like he's unresponsive:snide: til a slow smile starts to creep on his face...then I just smother him with a pillow:grinhappy:
but I have a bad habit of gasping when he's driving and he nearly jumps out of his skin.

A friend of ours was in the army when he was younger. He says that the army is the best training for marriage - ie yes dear, no dear, right away dear  He also claims to be better at peeling potatoes and cleaning toilets than his wife.
Further ... he's not a stupid man - he says that he happily does "domestic" chores because when his wife is happy, he's very happy man

I second that!!! Help out around the house and I am a very happy girl and you will be rewarded!
Josh always gasps and slams on his breaks when he sees animals. Like he has never seen deer in a field before! **** hunters!

Scott does this to me. He'll be on computer, the suddenly go "Oh my god..." I turn to him, asking what's going on, and he'll say something like "Oh, I just found something really awesome... It's a free ebook about organically raising chickens" or something like that. How exciting....
My response? launch a sock in his direction.

My husband does the laundry ( taking it all to the laundry mat and waching drying and folding all on his own ). He does the grocery shopping. He cooks and he cleans. Does dishes. What else can I say. I love this man lol.

Remember ladies, who ate from the tree first. All we wanted to do was, please our wives, and looked what happened.
And we've been suffering ever since.:D
But we still love ya.

That stinks that he scared you like that. I'm actually used to my fiance doing stuff like that. He makes the biggest deal out of his poker games online and will yell at the computer. Finally after putting up with that for a few months after moving in with him, I started yelling at him for it 'cause makes me jump every time (sudden noises always make me jump). Now he tries not to do it as much and apologizes when he does. Guys are silly. That's my conclusion for the day, haha.

When do the training sessions begin.. he can train mine, he won't know what hit him I will just tell him were going grocery shopping or something and to your house we will go. I will bring a dish to pass so we can watch...

Not sure I could train them but maybe my husband could lol.
Not sure how it came about. I guess he just wants to make life easier for me. Also I told him how much I hate washing dishes. This was before he moved up here and in with me. He told me he will wash all dishes and I will never have to wash another dish. Now how could I not love a man like that lol.
Not to say I don't wash dishes. I do my share. I still hate it though. I hate house work all together and if I put it off long enough he will do it. The floor mopping, cleaning out the fridge, cleaning the oven. THe laundry is a weekly thing and so is the grocery shopping. If I ask where something is when he gets back he says I will be right back. And I have to stop him from going back out to get one thing I asked for that he forgot. I tell ya ladies. If I was to ever lose this man for any reason ( nothing will take this man from me lol ) there is no way I could find another like him. Not only am I madly in love with this man. I have a great dish washer , house keeper, laundry maid, a great dad to all my kids, oh and the sex, well I will leave that for another time lol:D.
