I'm so frustrated right now, ladies! Our entry hallway is on the other side of the wall from our bathroom...and we never turn the lights on in the hallway - I just noticed that there is water damage on the floor! Who knows how long it's been there...!

I'm having a complete heart attack. I called FH at work and sent him some photos of what I saw (he hadn't noticed it either) and then called the plumber. They'll come tomorrow and let me know my fate...

I have this horrific idea of them having to hammer into the wall to find the source - some sort of money pit scenario.

Sometimes I really really really miss having a landlord. I miss when the problem wasn't really mine. Oh the days of carefree innocence. :sob:

Sorry for the vent!!

Water damage sucks!! I'm sorry to hear that, and I hope it turns out to be less than what you expect. Last week our pump in the crawl-space decided to stop working, and we had a foot of water down there. Yikes. Luckily we got the pump working and took care of it, but it was definetely not fun. Good luck!!!!

here's hoping its nothign serious! This is why fh and I are planning on getting an apt for the first year....so we can let the landlords worry about it:)

Hope it aint to serious.
But on the bright side if they do hammer into the wall, it'll take two weeks to fix, till then it'll look like you were testing missles (from the Money Pit):D

Thanks kids...

Plumber will be here today during the window of 10-12. I'm pretty sure that means 1:30. :) FH thinks it's been there a while (as do I) based on how it looks. So we have to wonder if anything is CURRENTLY leaking or if it's old or if it's something that's been continuely leaking for a long time.

EGAD!! :)
