How did you or would you announce to your family in a creative way that you are pregnant?

A friend of mine invited the family around and cooked a meal- baby corn, baby carrots, chipolatas (tiny sausages) and a bunch of other baby themed foodstuffs that I forget now. They all got through the whole meal before they realised that there was a bit of a theme going on!
I hope you get some other replies, so I can save up some ideas for next year :winktongue:

Well, my family tends to be less excited if they sense you want them to be excited about something, so I would probaby avoid a big announcement. For me it would be more like "I've got such a busy week... grocery shopping, work, lunch with whomever, shopping for a crib, working out, etc" and just let them notice. I don't know if my family is weird or what but they get more excited about things when they feel like it was their discovery, if that makes sense.

Although, a friend of mine did something sweet for her dad (or, tried to until her aunt who had seen it on myspace blabbed to the whole family...) at Christmas. She put her first ultrasound in a Grandpa photo frame and gave it to him.

My cousin gave her parents a cute picture frame that inside of it had a slip of paper (where the picture would go) that said "Baby (last name) and it had her due date underneath.

When, she was pregnant with her 3rd child (the first pregnancy ended up being twins!) we were all standing around for a prayer on Christmas Eve before we ate dinner, and she announced it...immediately after, my other cousin chipped in and said they were pregnant too!
