We bought our wedding bands!

Is it funny that with every big "to do" checked off the list, everything feels more REAL?

Well we bought our wedding bands yesterday. After 15 months of searching high and low, locally and online, we FINALLY found a band with diamonds set the same way as in my e-ring... ANd FH decided on the Scott Kay band HE wanted, so we got them yesterday. YAY!!!! (Arrrgh! I can't believe I have to wait 4 weeks to wear it!!!!)

Mine is a 3/4 carat, 18K white gold, semi-eternity band (there's a small section, about 1/4" wide at the bottom, where there's no diamonds, so it can be sized later on, if need be).

Beautiful rings - I love the eternity band look! Isn't it so exciting to get your wedding bands? We just picked up our bands 2 weeks ago, and I've been so anxious to wear mine (just 3 more weeks for me to wait) :D

Oh thank you! No, no, my own nails won't grow at all. I actually JUST got acrylics (pink and whites) put back on on Saturday (my MoH and I went for girl's day... nails, pedicures and... um... tattoos...well for her anyway :grinhappy:). The whites are a big "big" for my taste just yet, but that's why I wanted to go ahead and get them done NOW, so I'll have time for a fill-in before the wedding (by which point the whites will have grown out to a slightly more natural position :lol: )

Mine are a little longer than that and are My Own. Typing with them is starting to be a nightmare. But so far i've held out from cutting them shorter because My Wedding isn't far away either.
Knowing My Luck i'll break One at work and then have to cut the rest to match. I did that a couple of weeks ago doing the Gardening.
Just need to book in for a Professional Manicure a couple of Days before the Big Day.

Your bands are so beautiful! I know you cant wait to wear yours. I am wearing mine since my engagement, its tradition here to wear the engagement ring and the band in left hand while you are engaged and after the wedding I will put the band in the right hand ;)

Yay, congratulations on getting the wedding bands. Thats so exciting. Your wedding ban is absolutley gorgeous and it fits perfectly with your E-ring. My E-ring came with the wedding band, they interlock with each other, I already got FH wedding band. I got a little excited but he found THE ring so I bought it right then and there. LOL!

i did the same thing with my engagment ring. i was there when he bnought it, but i wan't allowed to know what it was for until our ann. so i know what you mean with trying your band on

They look great! We had to keep the rings at the jeweler because he both KNEW we would try them on and want to wear them all the time!
