This is to say how much I love my pen pal wife. I put a add in a magazine for pen pals and I got about 500 replies from women all over the country. I diveded them into 3 piles.....the ones I would write band, the ones I wouldn't write back and the ones I may write back.
So I started writing and a few wrote back and I found her letter interesting. Soooooo...
I put her letter in the wrong pile...the never write back pile....and after a few weeks she wrote me back asking why I stopped writing to her. So we started up again.
So after a few letters and some phone calls (no unlimited long distance then) it was time for me to go to basic training. She lived in CT and I was in NJ.
After I finished basic training she came to see me. I was soooooooo scared. We met and 3 months later we were MARRIED.
That was 25 years ago this past May and its still feels like the first time I met her!!!
