View Full Version : Totally redid our blog

So our wedding blog has been around for... oh... 16 months or so (since even before we were officially engaged). Initially I had a ZILLION posts, pics of flowers, hair, makeup, colors, gowns... EVERYTHING. Initially I had created it for my Mom and family to keep up on the planning process from afar.

Once we scrapped all that and decided on Vegas, I gutted it, deleted most everything, and started over.

Now that we're closer, the plans are set, and more of our friends are aware of the site (my MoH linked it in the invites to our Co-ed shower), I've redone it AGAIN... changed the layout, changed the header page picture, and added a page for photos (I created a FlickrPro account, so we have a central place for pics of all things wedding related).

Anyway, check it out if ya don't mind, lemme know what ya think, and give any suggestions you think might make it easier to navigate.

I think it looks great.
It's easy to navigate and easy to read.
I don't have any suggestions to make it better cause I think it looks good as it is. Good job!

It's a great site :) I did notice that the 'blogroll' was showing up twice and the calendar is underneath the Vegas picture where you can't see the dates of Saturdays. I love the rest though!


I have to tell you, but you guys are a really cute couple!

Weird... Hmmm... Ok I'll have to look into the blogroll thing. Might be a glitch with that layout (it's one of their pre-made layouts). I did notice the thing with the Saturdays being tucked, too but can't un-tuck it. Grrrr... I might need to pick another layout (again). That one seems glitchy.

Ok, I figured it out. My widgets were bein wonky. I think it's all fixed now. :)

Sweet! I was going to say maybe the size of your middle column was too big?? I have no idea.

It was weird; I had the calendar and recent posts widgets set for the 3rd column, but when I looked at the code, it had them in the first column as well; so I just deleted the duplicate widgets, and it all worked it self out I guess. *shrug*
