I am hoping I can redo the Satin Tie. I need claps to do it. But I have no idea what to look for. I mean when you go in to the Hobby Lobby. Its a wall of little beads and things.. Its like trying to find a needle in a hay stack.
This is what I am talking about.

What do I buy to hide the tied part.. That will also come apart for my BM's to be able to take the red satin ribbon off. So they may use the pearls for other occasions.
BTW, I cannot take the thing apart. I can only add the the necklace I need a clasp that will snap around it. If there is such a thing..
Help!!
Cause if I cant fix it. lol Its going as is... Photog has photoshop, and the bow will hide the tied part... I hope:bbcry:

I'm not sure if this will translate well but here goes.
How about tying the Ribbon to the end of the necklace half way up the Ribbon. Then when the clasp is closed, one end from each side can be tied together to form a Bow. That will then cover the join.
Does that make sense? Or is it as clear as Mud. :bbeek:

I am not sure that I know what your asking? You want something to cover up where the ribbon is added on? If so I am not really sure there is anything because the ribbon is really wide gauged. The largest crimp cover is like 4mm and the tie looks bigger than that. There are cones you could add but those stay on. Hmmmm.....
These are the cones:http://www.fusionbeads.com/shop/productchart/513/

How about running the ribbon through the ring after each girl puts on the necklace and tying it in a bow? You'd only need one piece of ribbon.

I'm still confused, because it sounds like this answer would solve the problem?
What if instead of the hook and loop, you just attach a loop to each end of the necklace, and then run a long piece of ribbon through the loops and tie together as the closure? Then the necklace is secured, you can tie a bow, the satin ends of it can hang down and you won't have any knots to hide.

Well I contacted a lady who makes them. Her's are $28.00 each! Yes they are a better quality.
Whew.. I made all 5 of mine for 6 bucks.. lol
But anyways.. She was very kind. And gave me the link to what I needed to connect the ribbon.

That makes sense. I guess I just was not understanding. Sorry:bbcry:
But thanks for everyones advice. I really dont want to have to spend any more money into this. I am not the crafty guru. And with jewelry.. there are some many different parts. You can get lost...
Thanks again.:D
