So every since we got married I wanted a little yorkie but we couldn't because I knew we would be moving within the year and plus we were both full time students and working almost full time and I knew I couldn't give it the attention it would need. Well last night I spoke with a breeder on the phone and we are going to pick up our Yorkie either this weekend or Monday!!
We need a little dog since we live in an apartment and do not have too much space, but I wanted a little dog. I adore the Yorkies, they have so much spunk for a small dog. I looked at both Yorkie rescues and breeders and while I commend those who choose to rescue, we decided not to right now since we will be having kids soon and I want to know the totally history of the dog and can't take a dog that was abused or abandoned because you never know what emotional scars they could end up taking on a child (though it would be a small chance, I just didn't wanna take the chance).
I haven't met him im person yet but they did send some pictures! He is currently 3.3lbs (they had another male that was only 2.5 but I want a small but sturdy dog so we got the bigger one) and as an adult he will weigh between 6-7lb... so small compared to the German Shepards I grew up with.
Enough blabbing, Meet Wrigley!!!
