This past weekend I got the chance to meet two other members of the board!

I met Nikki (ikkin510) and Katy (nicksbride). Both fabulous ladies and I'm honored that I formed a long lasting (almost 4 years for me a Nikki) friendship with them through OneWed.

Thats so neat! I would love to do something like that...only saw on other person on here from Mobile though and haven't seen them since....and there were one or two other members from Alabama.....?

Oh wow. Good to hear that other Forums get to meet up too. I really must get a Passport LOL.

It sure is fun to meet People You know online. I've met heaps of other AC/DC Fans via various Forums. One of them i'm Marrying !! :winktongue:
Even Friends from America, Canada, Australia and Europe have been to Our House.

Here's a few of them. I'm the Third Female from the Right in the Grey T-shirt. FH is behind me in the Flat Cap. The Blonde at the back and the Girl on the Right are from the US. And the Guy sitting on the wall wearing a Black Cap flew in from Ausralia.
And at least one other in this Photo will appear in the Wedding Pics too.

The Internet is Great.

I'm all about the internet. I think it's the best way to meet people!

I'm not sure if FH thinks it's a gift or a curse...hehehe...:)

My Ex-Husband would have it down as a Curse.
He taught Me how to surf the net.

That is awesome! When we were in VT I kept my eyes out just in case I happened to see Katy! (She stopped posting pretty much when I started, but since she is from VT I read all her threads. :) )

She's busy with her new baby boy...I still keep in touch by email now...This wasn't my very first time meeting her. I met her in Manchester NH prior to this...But first time meeting her new son!!!

I met another Elizabeht from OW. She was the one who Married my DH and I.

Very cool that you all got to ahng out and get to know each other outside of OW. Love the pictures.

I've met a couple people from message boards in real life, including Lalaland13 (on onewed), who I met back in 1998 on a writing board.

I think OW should have a National Convention - everyone could meet one another!!! Then, everyone could prepare their signature dishes found on the "Whats for Dinner" thread!
