How long have you been planning your wedding

I have been planning my wedding for what seems like forever. I just wanted to know how long some of you have been planning yours.

It's been a year now since I've been really planning. It actually feels like it's been so much longer than that!

I'm inbetween Just started and one year. We've been engaged for 7 months (I can hardly believe it!) and been planning pretty much since before that. Thus far, I'm loving every minute of it!! Ask me this time next year, I'll probably tell you different!

Just started. But don't plan to do all that much planning. I'm going to try to make decisions as fast as possible and not stress about it...I said TRY! :)

About 18 months.

We've been engaged for 15 months, but we started planning a few months before we made it 'official.'

Right at about the one-year mark is when we scrapped all the plans and opted for Vegas instead. :D

2 and a half years... lol but only because we had to cancel it twice (due to my dad's illness) thats why I am just so ready to get it over with! all this planning and it's going to all be over in less than 80 hours from now!

We were married just a little over a year after we were engaged so once I got around to planning it was a little less than a year of planning time.

We got engaged in September 2007 but didn't start planning anything until well into the New Year.
Had to wait for the Gig Dates to come in for Our Friends Tribute Band and then find a Saturday they were free. But the dates started filling up every weekend. So they cancelled a Gig in October so We could get Married.

That was back in March so We booked the Date at the Registry Office and it kinda snowballed from there.
The rest of the Planning started around Mid-April 2008. So not very long and it's all done and dusted now. Just waiting for October 11th now. :D

We got engaged in March and immediately started planning. So we have been planning for 5 months almost to the day.

We started talking about ideas a few months before we were officially engaged. Then we really started planning after, and the wedding was 15 months after we were engaged. So I guess around 18 months all together.

For me it will last a bit longer than a year. It will probably be a couple months though until we start finally booking places, since we have a list of places we want to go check out.

I didn't actually really start planning until about 2 or 3 months ago.

Our first wedding in Vegas I onl yhad 2 weeks to plan but i did it :)

About 6 months but it seems like 5 years lol

Of those who planned more than a year. Do you feel better about planning it this way?

Me personally I am. We had alot going on and the wedding was held off twice, so we could move to Cincinnati ohio. ( job promotion) I have done so much with this wedding and bought so much, that I really think the last 8 months of planning will be a breeze. At leaat I hope it will be.. lol

We really are date twins!!! I got engaged in July as well! (the 3rd) I think the amount of time that we have been planning has been almost perfect!

We got engaged last December, and are getting married this November, so we'll have been planning for 11 months (which STILL isn't enough time to do everything I want to do, lol)
