So, I own an Intel iMac, and I prefer to have most of my software on the Mac side of things. (Honestly, the only reason I put XP on my Mac was to game. yes, I'm that geeky.)

Anyways...I'd like to get some decent home budgeting/banking software to get a better hold on my finances. Here's my dilemma: From what I've researched, there isn't much out there for the Mac side of things. Quicken 08 for Mac isn't even out, and what WILL be coming out I'm not too sure about.

iBank some people love, and others hate.

I COULD get Quicken 08 for the PC side I suppose, but I'm leary to since 99% of the time I'm on OSX and not XP.

Any thoughts, experiences, recommendations?

Is there an older version of Quicken for Mac that you could use? They don't change much from year to year. Quicken is what I use, so I don't have much more advice than that.

Sweetvenus, yes, there are older versions of Quicken for Mac, but I'm remembering that it was lacking something I wanted, and only the PC version had it.

Oh yes...online transaction record keeper thingy. The Mac version didn't have it. I want that, definitely.

Danielle, thanks for the tip on Mint...looks very interesting! Read some reviews, and I have to agree with PC Magazine that I'll have to get over giving bank info to a third party site...that DOES have me a bit concerned, but I may take a closer look at that site tonight. (Initial surf has me curious/interested.)

Thanks for the help thus far!
