I met my husband to be while working at a local gas station near where we both live.
The first time I was him, I remember telling the lady who was working with my why can't I meet a guy like that, she laughed and said well the next time he comes in "talk to him" but thats just not me or my personality so I figured it would never happen. Lo & behold the next time he came in he talked to me and asked for my number and if he could take me out sometime...in my flustered state the first thing I blurt out was "how old are you?" I was two mnths shy of 21 and figured him to be somewhere around 26 or so...and working at a gas station for some reason's guys got the wrong impression and made un welcome advances so I was just being cautious.
After a few days he came back in and I made sure to be out wiping the counters In the hopes that he would stop to talk again....Thank God he did and this time when he asked for my number I gave it too him...we talked for the next month and a half; long, enjoyable conversations so when he finally asked to take me out again I agreed.. nervous nelly that I am... I told him to meet me and my sister & her boyfriend (at the time now they're engaged too) at the local flea market....well once we'd made our way through the market my sis & her beau were planning on going back to his house and Steve asked if I wanted to go to a movie just across the street from the flea market....so we went and when it wsa over we went out to dinner at a little mexican resturant next door to the theatre. It was a blast and we didnt' want it to end....we've been inseperable ever since:)
