My Fur-baby has tracheal bronchitis. :bbcry:

He started coughing so hard on Sunday night that he was throwing up. He was up every hour on the hour having a coughing fit. We finally moved ourselves downstairs so that we were closer to a door to get him outside when he was having a fit.

I couldn't take off of work because my boss is not here this whole week and we were kicking off an incentive progam on Monday. So FH had to take him to the vet. He is on three different meds. I guess it is VERY contagious. They made him wait outside until they had a room ready for him and then they had to bleach the whole room down.

He has these fits at least once an hour and he coughs up all the infection in his throat. He is home by himself today and I am freaking out..... I feel so bad for him....

Brenda,

So sorry your little furbaby is sick. I can imagine it must be hard not to freak out about him being home alone. The meds usually work pretty quickly, so hopefully he's getting some rest while you are away.

AW!!! You are so sweet to check in!!! He is doing much better! He is on three different antibiotics. For the first week he was still coughing a lot. However that is beacuse he was spitting his pills out and we didn't even notice! Little Brat!!! It is good to have him healthy again! I even got cleared to start taking him for runs again!!! YAH!!!

Thanks ladies! I am too! It was so hard to see my bundle full of energy just lay there all day and night long! I felt so bad for him. Now he is back to normal and wants attention non stop!
