Oh, I see now ;) Well, you won't really see the grass loop when it is pinned on right? I'd maybe use a couple of smaller pieces of grass and either have them just sticking out on each side or make two loops, one on each side. Or just leave the leaves or maybe add some babies breath.

I think everything is really cute. You may just have to add a little something else to the bouts. Heres a pic of one I just put together. I love the lilly grass...

For your flowers, try using a few more roses I think you will be happier with a little bigger bouquet, remember the flowers will draw attention to your beautiful dress. If you have a hobby lobby near by wait until the Christmas ribbon goes on sale for half off and you will have lots of beautiful textures ribbon to choose from. What are your colors? My daughters colors are red and black with white, I was able to find some great ribbon in the christmas section.

I like the idea of the grass sticking out both sides... Or else make it longer and stick up behind more..?

I really like your centrepieces!! I think the red in the vases stands out nicely. Very pretty :grinhappy: Also, nice work on the bouquets!! I don't think there is anything you would need to change/add unless you really feel something is missing.

That is what I was trying to describe with the grass loops ;) I like the curly thing on the side made from the tape too :)

I think you did an awesome job on the DIY, take into consideration what the other ladies have said though, I don't want a huge bouquet either but a little fuller might compliment your dress better, good luck on any other DIy things I think you did a good job!:grinhappy:

with boutineers when i made a mockup i used little "berries" in the back (i like the way the previous picture sombody posted had them on the bottom too) and i added a spring of babies breath along with the berries and a loop of lilly grass. I agree the boutineer needs a bit more, but a great start. everything else looks good :)

i like the marbles on the bottom of the centerpiece. i dont think i have seen red marbles before.. hmm

I think the centerpieces are really romantic. I'm doing glass vases with the glass stones as well so maybe I'm partial to those! Best of luck keeping busy--I sure know how that goes.

I really like the centerpeices. Those are kinda like the ones im gonna have except mine are gonna have a few flowers in the bowl along with the the floating candle and a few butterfly applicees on them. Cute simple and cost effective, good job!

Everything looks great! I definitely agree on adding some filler. Have you thought about adding babies breath to all your flowers? It would help add a "snowy" look. :)

I like all the arrangements that you have done so far. I have a couple suggestions regarding some of them. For the bride bouquet I will suggest you to make it a little bigger adding more roses. It would look much better. On my wedding bouquet I used approximately 25 roses. Another thing that you can do is mix two types of flowers, you can use the amount of roses you have on the picture and you can add 5 to 8 calla lilies or some Gerber daisies, they make a beautiful combination. Another thing I will recommend is to use some greenery it will make the bouquet look nicer and will add some volume. You can use Israeli Ruscus, baby’s breath, Eucalyptus, pittosporum, solidago, leather leaf, among others. I will also recommend adding something else to the boutonniere. To be honest I really don’t like that long grass looking thing. It will look so much better if you use instead some baby’s breath, Ruscus or Hypericum berries they are perfect for boutonnieres and corsages. Good luck!
