Hello there
My best friend and her fiance decided they're getting married on one of the biggest roller coaster rides in Los Angeles. And from where they're standing, the corkscrew turns are looking awfully scary.
"Life is a series of ups and downs, so we thought it'd be appropriate to get married on a roller coaster," says Doris, my friend, whose only concession to a white wedding is her knuckles. "Neither of them are formal so it suits their personalities to do something different." Has anyone hear something similar?

I haven't heard of doing this, but it's a neat idea! I'm a huge wimp, so I'd probably choose the old wooden one at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk.

Hopefully, they'll be able to say their vows in between the screams, LOL!

So, is this a just-the-two-of-them type of thing while the guests watch from below? Or are they planning on having all of the guests climb aboard?

I am pretty sure that I have seen news clips of couples who have done this or got married and then went bungee jumping off a bridge LOL

Neat for them but, it's not something I would want to do

I used to work in a Factory with a load of Women. One day they were all talking about ways to get Married.

One of them thought i had got Married Bungee Jumping.
Another reckoned i'd done it Under Water.
Another one said i was more the Parachute kinda Woman.
Another thought i'd eloped to Gretna Green.

What kind of person did they think i was!!! :ooh:
I know back then i was a bit of a Biker Chick but even so. Pffffth.

They were all a bit miffed when i said it was wearing Ivory in a Church with the Groom in Top Hat and Tails. BM's, PB, the full works. All our family there and a normal Honeymoon not involving anything high risk or plain daft like jumping of Beachy Head tied to Knicker Elastic.

According to Wikipedia it is :)

In 1988, Debbie Beller and Michael Ball were married while riding Colossus. It was the last marriage on a roller coaster at Six flags Magic Mountain.[3]

Ha! I just searched "roller coaster wedding" on youtube and a whole bunch of them came up
