Well first I have to apologize that it took me nine months to finally get these but my best friend was the only person who could help me with this and she has been really busy with her life! So I would like to FINALLY share a few pics with y'all!! YAY!! lol

The skies were gray that day but they made our pictures pop in a beautiful way!! I loved the sky in all our photos! And it was great because it kept us from squinting in our photos!

Yep, I use to love overcast days for outdoor photos when I was a photographer ;)

Thanks!! I wish I had some close ups but there weren't any on the whole CD. I think I'll be asking for a scanner for my next birthday! I can't believe it took nine months for her to get them to me but I am happy I have them and I understand she was super busy! (she's been sick and could have ovarian cancer! :bbcry:

Thank you!! It was such a wonderful day in our lives! I can't believe we are so close to celebrating our first anniversary here right away. I am happy that I can finally share my day with you all!

Why thank you! Yeah unfortunatley the other photos were taken secretly! My photographer didn't want anyone "Stealing" her shots. I don't blame her because sometimes you get people looking at the wrong camera and for a photographer that can be frustrating! So my BF was taking them from a far. I went downstairs to take some pictures of the cake topper and thought. Hell I'll give it a try and see if it works. It didn't totally but at least everyone can see us a little closer! Me and my German! lol I love my Hubby!!

i wish! but I think my album weighs about five to ten pounds! lol....And I don't trust Canada Post or the US post to not lose them! lol. That album is my pride and joy!! lol. But thanks for the offer! If I was closer I'd pop over and we'd do them! lmao!!

Lol...ummmm sort of! I dried it upside down and so its down stairs in a display cabinet with the rest of our stuff. This is what it looks like almost a year later! lol

The colors aren't the greatest when you take a picture of it. It is actually darker in person! I was sure as heck not going to waste a $150 bouqet! lol. I had a throw away bouqet for that! :wink:

I can't wait to be able to scan pictures as well! There is this really cute one of the two flower girls and ring bearer that I would love to share!! I think Matt's parents may be coming to visit soon! Maybe he can ask them to bring it up with them! :)

Oh yes!! We had wind too! lol. There were times wher I was holding onto my veil for dear life! Thanks for the compliments kelli! I hope that scanner comes to visit me when my Inlaws do! lol. I've been trying to figure out how I will do it when I've got a huge, heavy book and have to put that on the scanner!! lol :bbeek:

We used real flowers for bouqets and bouts. They totalled to be about $2500. The aisle arrangements and the "altar" arrangments were real as well. However we used silk flowers for the arch for obvious reasons. Hope that answers your questions!! :)

Roses tend to be more expensive. Like I said before my bouqet was about a hundred to a hundred and fifty dollars. We tried to keep with flowers that were in season for everything else though.

Not to hijack your thread Shawna, but I thought I'd stick in my two sense. I wanted roses really bad, but I knew it would be WAY too expensive. So I had just my bouquet and Jason's bout in roses. Well, the parents all got white rose bouts/corsages, but all the attendants got tulips (I LOVE tulips!) We only spent about $200 on flowers; but we did all of the decoration flowers out of silk on our own. I also asked that my roses be really open in my bouquet, which brought down how many I needed; my bouquet was only $65!

Nice!! Great deal! I have to add that I didn't want ANY silk flowers except for the ones on the arch...thats where my costs added up. I think I also ended up with silk flowers for my two FGs and thats it. Silk flowers can and will save you money and they look almost as real as the real ones. (lol go figure!!Hee hee!!) I had eight aisle arrangements that cost us about a hundred and twenty five bucks a piece! And two front "altar" arrangements that were also about a hundred and twenty five dollars a piece. Each BM's bouqet was about fifty, and the mom's, two grandmas and 3 sisters corsages were about $15 each. All the other bouts were about $10 a piece and there were a fair few there. We also had large hanging baskets from the cieling, I believe they were about $35-50 and bought at a Home Depot or something. (my inlaws took care of those.....bless their hearts!! :) ) So as you can see, I had A LOT of flowers, thats what I wanted...you can do the real flower thing and not make yourself go broke over them if you really put your mind to it. Also, my florist is a local shop owner who lives a few miles from my inlaws. She has done friends weddings and gave us a bit of a deal. We also saved money on delivery because our aisle arrangements were too big to fit in her van and we had to have a stock trailer to pick them up!! lol. So our Best mans dad did this for us and save us money! :wink:

Sorry I think I really just rambled on there. I just wanted to tell Kelli that she was very savy and that I loved her flowers at the wedding and I ended up blabbering on! lol

Oh oh oh!! I love your tattoo. My DH has a maple leaf and bull skull across it. It is also very country!! Mine is just so run of the mill!! Yes I love the roses and the reds! I wasn't too pleased with my BM's bouqets but at least mine was the way I wanted it!! I can't wait to see your wedding pictures!! We must be soul sisters! lol
