Hi everyone, I am Mallie from the UK, and i am hoping to go to NYC in early October with my Hubby & 2 children to renew our weddings vows. We have been married 5 yrs Oct 7th (05) and have been through a really rough time (ive been seriously ill), and thought it would be lovely to celebrate my recovery and the fact we got through it as a family. Can anyone point me into the right direction of how i may go about this?... Ideal locations in New York, how I book a registra or similar to renew our vows, and some where nice to go for a celebration meal after... any help whatso ever will be so helpful..Many Thanks

A good place to start is Onewed New York wedding planning (http://www.onewed.com/weddings/NY/index.html). From their you can contact Ceremony Sites, and Officiants & Clergy. etc. As they will be locals of NY. You could ask them what places are nice to have a bite to eat, while reviewing their services they are offering that you would need for your renewal!

Hope that helps!

Thanks for your reply, I had a look on the site and it does look very useful.I have on other question, I live in the Uk as i said before, and i am looking at hiring WHITE SAND WEDDINGS to arrange the ceremony for me in New York, I noticed they are advertised on that site, could you or anyone else confirm that they are a legitimate company. We have to be very careful over here we get do many companies advertising things and when we pay they then mysteriously dissapear!. I shall once again be very grateful for any help.

You can check with the BBB to see if they have any complaints, after that take the normal steps one would take with good judgment in hiring someone for services.

If a company gets a complaint for fraud onewed removes them, so all vendors on onewed are in good standing to our knowledge.

I can't find WHITE SAND WEDDINGS on onewed, where you see them at?
