What is the average price for a limo these days. Say we get a 14 passenger,
And the miles from the church to the reception is 12 miles away from each other.

Does it go by the Hour?

Most places will be different depending on what type of limo you want, and what state you live in. When I booked a limo for a party it was $150 an hour. It was a standard limo that seated 12 people, however in all honesty it seated 10 people comfortably, and 12 like sardines!
If you want the fancy stuff like a Hummer Limo or an SUV limo it is $325 an hour. (These were the rates I got quoted, I live in Texas.)
I would say shop around, but don't pick the cheapest company. Make sure you go to CitySearch.com or the BBB and check the company reviews, sometimes you sacrifice quality and professionalism for price. Be careful! I hope this helps :D

I did a little reserch and found a couple companies near you. Your looking at around $400+ for 3 hours. Plus fuel, tax and tip.
I'd have to agree with Mrs. Panda, check around for the best deal and the best car that you like.
Also ask about discounts for paying in full, booking early, etc.
