I'm Back!

Hey ladies,
Wow, I can't believe it's all over. It seems like such a blur. From what I can remember, it was a great wedding. It's hard being the bride though, you don't really get to enjoy the day as much as everyone else. Everyone, I mean everyone, wants to talk to you, wants your attention and needs you for something. But, I wouldn't have changed anything at all.
The honeymoon was perfect. We enjoyed ourselves so much.
I'm trying to figure out the easiest way for me to post pictures of the wedding and honeymoon. Any suggestions?
I have so much to tell you about, I don't even know where to start.

It went really well. I got a little frustrated at one point, cause every 2 minutes someone was dragging me somewhere. So finally I turned to our coordinator and said that I wasn't doing anymore "stuff" that I just wanted to have fun and our guests have fun as well. So I cancelled the garter toss and the bouquet toss. But what I did do instead of that, was pull my sister to the side and tell her that if I were to do the garter toss, I'd want her to catch it- then I gave her my bouquet. I'm so glad I did that, because now it's a special moment and memory, instead of just tossing it. The garter, my husband (wow, that still sounds so nice to say), he snuck under my skirt while we were dancing and took it off and threw it up in the air. It was really funny.

Everything turned out to be so perfect, I still can't get over it!

lol I'm so glad everything turned out so well for you. You sound so incredibly happy!!! I will be on pins and needles waiting for the pictures. I would just download them to Photobucket. This is how I do it. I hope it works for you.


Right click on picture
"Save as" into My Pictures or whatever
Go to Photobucket
Click Browse
Find your picture in My Pictures or wherever you put it & double click
name it in the description part
Click Submit
Go down to your picture and copy the "Img" string
Go back to Onewed
Paste the string into post
Preview it to see if it took.

Hey Shawna,

It's great that you are back...and I'm thrilled that everything turned out great and that you and your "husband" had such a great honeymoon. I think that what you chose to do with your bouquet was really touching and beautiful. I would do something similar with my sister, who was supposed to be in the wedding, but can't afford it, but she has already been married once, so I don't think that it will mean as much to her. Anyways congratulations and I look forward to seeing your pic.

Hey Hayz, how is newlywed life going anyway?

Its ok. Nothing has really changed though. He's away in another city at the moment with work. Left on Wednesday so I'm on my own for a month. Hows that for newlywed life!
At least I've got Oyster and Keira to keep me company, and I've just recently (this week) got my hours changed at work so I've got to get used to that now.
I can't wait till we can go down south and see the photographer and get the professional photos sorted out, but we don't know when that would be yet.
Oh and I really must get on with the 'thank yous'. I started them several weeks ago and haven't looked at them since. Maybe I'll do them on Saturday. Please someone remind me and give me the chair if I don't do them! :chair:

I haven't printed my Thank-you cards yet!
I'm meeting up with the photographer and we're making them. We're doing something different. A postcard style card (about 5"x7"), with a collage of around 10 different pics. We will put our written personalized message on the back. I thought it would be nice for everyone to see a few pictures, and not just one.
I haven't sent out thank-yous for my shower yet!!! OOPs... That was like a month before the wedding! I'm going to get those done this week, and the wedding ones in the next few weeks.
So much to do, and I thought it was over!!!

I just brought a pad that says "Thank you for sharing our special day" at the top and then at the bottom it says "Wedding" in nice fancy writing and has 2 white gold rings (which is what ours are) underneath it. I've just got to write a message in it to thank them for whatever gift they gave us.
