You could make the accent color be the same as the dresses and vest. Any color will match with ivory and gold, so it's up to your preference. Some things that might help you decide are time of day, season, theme venue, etc. For example, for a sunny summer wedding you might want a bright color, or for an evening or winter wedding you might want a deep, rich color.

Or look at the Clothes You own and see what Colour You like to wear. Everyone has a favourite Colour or Two.
I love Red and Black and My Wardrobe (Closet) Is full to those colours. So naturally i went for those for My Wedding.

Also think about what will look good on your ladies. My bridesmaids range from my toothpick-skinny 13-year old blonde cousin, to my athletic brunette sister whose size is like a rollercoaster because of her medications, to a couple of curvy friends, one who's a redhead. I'm still undecided about what color will do them all justice. I might have them wear black, with sashes of my theme colors.

Ivory and gold go with almost everything! Choose your favorite color, or maybe FH's! I also like the idea to choose the BM dress color based on what would look good on your girls.
Personally, I like these colors with ivory and gold:
Red
Brighter, "fuscia" pinks
Light "apple" greens
Teal
Royal Blue
Navy
Purple
Brown
Black

This is what I'm doing for my girls! Black looks hot on everyone, and every girl needs a little black dress! I have mine mismatching, since there is no dress that will look good on both my pear-shaped friend with her little mosquito bites and my other friend with her huge breast-melons. I just told them to pick a black dress that they like! It's worked well.

my wedding dress is ivory/gold...so i just dont want them to have to spend a lot of money on their dresses since they are paying for them, but they dont like black so i have to have a meeting w them and see what they want to do, if its too much of a hassle then maybe i dont need attendants at all and you will see me on the vents forum...lol:bbmrgreen:

I think any color would look great with your colors. I see black and brown being very sheek and elegant, though!!!

You tell them what YOU want. They'll deal. It's only one day and really who can be against something that classic?
