POST REMOVED - RE: ...
Since we have had so much trouble with various types of spam lately, we have set a new rule that new members cannot post in the Announcements and Opportunities forum or any of it's sub-forums at all.
Once new members have posted in other areas a while and become a "Trusted member" showing that they want to be a part of the community, they will gain access to post in this forum.
So if any new member is found posting inappropriate topics elsewhere on the board they will be seen as a spammer trying to get around this rule. The posts in question will be removed and the user will be subject to removal from the community.
The original content of this post was a promotion trying to share a website. It becomes obvious to new members that they can't post links so many times they try to slip in links spelling it out in other ways. This is frowned upon and seen as spammy, especially in the new member's very first post :snide:
Also, the post should have been in the "Great Finds" forum. But new members cannot post there until they are "trusted", But it seems the original poster didn't read and/or choose to abide by the rules, so the post was deleted. Hopefully others will see this and learn.
For everyone that joins here; it is a good idea to familiarize yourself with the rules of the community and/or spesific forums before you start posting. It is also customary to introduce yourself before posting; especially when you want to promote something/share a website, otherwise you might be mistaken for a spammer.
For Vendors; you are welcome to join the community and other topic discussions then share your business with us once you have become a "Trusted Member" :grinhappy:
