I'm in love with this bouquet and I have a question do you think I should go with different shades of pink or incorporate purples & yellows I will post a pic and also a pic of the BM dress. I don't really have a theme but, if anything I guess you could call it a spring theme. I'm kind of afriad if i use all three colors it would be to loud or tacky. please help thanks.

I like the bouquet how it is, with different shades of pink. Especially because of the color and texture of your BM dresses.

I was thinking of replacing the white lillies with stargazer lillies and the white calla lillies with either hot pink or lite pink ones and adding pink ranunculus. what do y'all think of that idea? I'm also going to add pic s of the flowers i'm talking about.

I'm not a big fan of the Stargazer Lilies. They smell funny,IMO. I absolutely love the ranunculus though, I used them in my wedding. :) The pink is a very pretty color

I really want an all pink bouquet from my BMs and mine to be all white but i'm starting to think the stargazer are to much of a contrast so I looked up pink lillies and I found a bunch that i like. and i'm going to post them tell me what you think.

The nice thing about those green dresses is that they'll go with every color of flower! I think no matter what you choose, it will be lovely!

Often, florists have ideas on specific flower varieties to share with you, so as long as you have the overall picture, they would be happy to help you choose the particulars!

I think the bouquet how it is with those dress would look absolutely beautiful!! It's hard to imagine how it would be adding in purple and yellow - if it's just a little bit I think it would look pretty. Anything bold I think would be too much.

I like the first picture of the bouquet with the gown. I think that would look lovely.

I wouldn't go with stargazer lillies, for one reason only ~ I had some deliveried to me at the office once. The inside part that is yellow (pistils, I think?) Anyway, that pollen like stuff rubs off on you! One of my fellow employees stuck her nose close to the stargazer lilly and she had yellow on her face, tried to wipe that off, and then got it on her hands and cloths!

Pretty nice bouquet!! I'm wondering which type of filler flower are you using? I can see there is a long type of flower...

I'm not sure you see I found that pic on line and just feel in love with it, but I figure my florist can replicate it I hope. I'm not sure and I don't know to much about flowers, but I think the long green ones are snapdragons.

Don't be afraid to go for something bolder with your flowers. The bouquet you have shown is lovely as is, but could also work well using more vibrant colors. The trick is not to overdo the contrasts. Try and keep it to either tone or color. So if you liked the brighter pinks a sprinkling of white and cream provide a lovely contrast. Similarly, if you wanted brighter purple, yellow and pink which are very contrasting in color, adding lighter colors/tones could overdo it. Don't get me wrong though, they look fantastic!

If you did opt for brighter flowers I would tend to keep them for the bridesmaids (great dresses) and have something more subdued for yourself (keeps the attention on you & your dress rather than the flowers :D).

BTW, your florist would normally snip the pollen from any lilies you're using in your bouquets, so it wouldn't be a problem.
