Well I guess I need to get started on this....

Bill and I met online Jan. 04. Bill had just returned home from Iraq, he was in the Army Reserves. I lived in Toronto Ohio and he grew up in Mingo Jct. Ohio which is about 10 miles from from one another. We talked on the phone and e-mailed each other for about a week befor we decided to meet. WE meet at the bowling lounge in Toronto.( I was very usure about the internet thing felt better meeting in a public place.) We talked for hrs, the next day he called and wanted to meet for lunch( confessed to my dad about him wanting to have lunch and I met him off the internet----my dad flipped out about the internet thing) , my mom was at work so it was me against Dad... Well anyway I ended up meeting him at the mexican resturant we talked and rode around talking.. I took Bill to meet my parents later on that day (I think my dad felt better) and they seemed to think he was ok, later that night I met his parents they seemed very nice and proceeded to tell me how Bill talked about me.

Bill purposed to me on Christmas 2004 on the way to my parents house... We drove past my parents house and I was like were are you going and he pulled off into this field it was pretty scenery. He went on how I as ment for im and how much he loved me and he got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife..... Of course I said yes......

The unity candle is beautiful! I love the pearl type look with the crystals! Your engagement story is so sweet! I love the snow and stuff, so I bet the scenery was just beautiful!

I got my first shower gift today..... It was from my boss's wife and daughter, they can't make it to my shower b/c the lill darling has something going on...
It is a 9 piece Lenox baking set, its the pizza one very nice, FH says "we won't use that"... He needs to just sit back and relaxe let me do the shower part..lol

Well guys I know that I suck at this journal thing , Sun is my shower and I'm really excited but nervous , I hate all those people looking at me..... I'm not allowed to go help decorate my mom says its a surprise so I guess I will try to be patient... My bridesmaids and i did the wedding favors last sat I will have to take a pic and post it, we made the spoonfull of kisses favor... Well I survied the shower It was very nice my mom and grandmohter put alot of time and effort to make it special and they did. We had 69 people that signed the book... My mom had a few surprise for me and one was a Choc. fountain(she has pics on her camera which I will be sharing when I get her camera) I had my cousin take soem pics with my camera and she didn't get very many of anything..:(((( Bill adn I made a killing We recived a good bit of money and gift cards and LOTTTTTTTSSSSSSSSSSS of gifts.... I did a registry at wal-mart and Kaufmans would you know I recieved triple of some things... I think I got Walmarts stock of pyrex bowls and bake ware... My plan was not to use any of it till we got our house but Bill was like I kid in teh candy store lets get rid of out old... Bill and I had everything already but not really top of the line stuff..Well here are some pics more to come when I get my moms camera

My Bridal shower cake, My Grandma wanted to surprise me with a teired cake... I lost both my grandfathers within excatly 1 yr and a day... I was the first grandchild on mym moms side and was and am very important to my grandparents and I think my gram is having a rough time and wants the best for me she keeps telling me....

IS a hall in the town my grandmas lives in and she gets it for free. I got more pics on my mom's camera.. My mom went and bought a mini choc. founatin from Kaufmans and wanted to surprise me with it since I sooo badly wanted one for my recep. w/ we r having ..... They did an awesome job and my dad even helped in the prep. but stayd far away from the sower till it was time to clean up... They made Turkey rolls and shredded beef , we had wedding soup, parsley butter potatoes, green beans , potato and mac salad. For the coc. fountain they had mini marhmellows , strawberryies, pretzles, vienna fingers pinapple and cherries, watermellon, can. honey dew and fruit dip...
They let Bill and I take the op of the cake home and we ate a piece tonight yummy...

Me in front of my cake... Brittany is in front she was my original flower girl but her mom said she was to shy and wouldn' t do it so she said she wasn't doing it... Well at my shower Brittany walked in thinking she was the flower girl and when her mom said she wasn't she got all upset... Brittany has been with either her mom or I since she was born and tells me at tmes wish you were my mom, I love this little girl to death.... I really bothered me about the whole issue and there are some other things to I wish not to vet about right now but I think Brittanys mom was the one who didin't want bothered w/ it.... As of Mon I am now adding Brittany as a flower girl I asked her to be a jr brides maid and she wanted to be a flower girl so now I'm going to scramble my brain tying to get her a dress and everything to match Theoren my other flower girl I will be sure to post a pic of her he is such a ham... Sorry to ramble on...

FH was like a kid in the candy store...My plan was not o use any of it till we got out house... We have lived together for 3 yrs and have everything(not good stuff but it works) .. Fh and bil packed both trucks up after the shower and brought it home to the living room and he was all gun o about putting it out, so we worked till 1am doing that and then loaded my car up and took all out old stiff to good will... I got tons of pyrex bakewear , took lots of it back caus eit was all repeated...But it was fun

WEll with 29 days in counting I think everything is good to go.... Mom is going to do our programs here in the next few days and she's been baking cookie after cookie. All the favors r done( I need to post pic.) Bubbles all have ribbons , parents gfts are bought and wrapped as so r the bm''s and gm's.... All my songs r picked out for the reception.....Wow I need to chill...

WEll one weeks left then I will be Mrs. Powers WOW that makes me sound old.... Everything is done I just have to last thru the week, Wed we are going out for my batchlerette party. We are going o a place called Zalinskies its in the next town over they have wings and kareoke on weds.. SOmeone invited both my g-mas so who knows what it will be like:bbeek:. I stoped by the reception venue with my dad yesterday , he had to make their final payment and they had a it set up for a reception today and it look beautiful... I did make one change yesterday and that was instead of round tables we r going w/ square........ Fri is the rehersal at 6pm then we r eating at Undos afterwards.. Undos is kinda an italion resturant .. I have to work Tues and wed then I'm off till tues.... Fri am my mom, sister, and one bm and I are getting our nails done, then I'm taking my sister and we are having a sis day out getting pedicures and lunch. WEll I need to get ready my sister and I are going to a craft show, I just love fall crafts...

I'm sorry that I didn't get to look at your journal before today. Your bridal shower was HUGE! I had about 13 people show up! =) Oh well!

The favors are great! I was actually going to do the same thing. (Got the idea from this site!) I did something with kisses but I filled plastic champaigne glasses. Your bouquets look really nice. I love gerbera daisies. I went with the typical red and white roses! How original! Your hair looked amazing as well!

Everything looks great and I wish you all the luck in the world. You are going to be beautiful on your special day. =) I along with the others, I am sure, cannot wait to see all the pictures and hear (read) about it.
