Tonight i decided to have a fiddle about with my Wedding Favours. Small Glasses with Sugared Almonds inside and Ivory Tulle around the outside of the Glass tied with Ribbon.

Woohoo!! The Stems come off the Glasses so getting the Tulle around should be easy. Fold the circles into quarters, small snip and Ta-da!
I'd already cut the circles ready to go but when i tried it, the Tulle was too small to go round the outside of the Glass and tie up. :ooh:

So after a few choice words directed at the Glasses (Yes, i'm insane LOL) I came downstairs to rethink it all.

If i can't find any Tulle Circles around 12 inches Diameter. I'm going to put the Almonds in the Tulle and put them inside the Glasses. (Even though i wanted it on the outside)

The glasses can then be used for the Toast etc.

I don't really want to go out and buy a load of Tulle and cut some more. For one i don't have a 12 inch saucepan lid LOL.
And secondly. For the first time ever, eBay don't have any big enough. :bbeek:

We Yanks have these wonderous little things called "shot glasses." They'd hold the almonds and the small tulle would be perfect (sans the holes). Best part? They can still be used for toasting!!!! Woohoo!

Thanks Hun but i think we are going to go with putting the Tulle on the inside, tied with very fine Red Ribbon.
Then put a Black Ribbon Bow around the outside of the Glass.

Will have a little fiddle about later on in the week.
